IceJava_
Faber on hgh or some other legal substance? That or some secret training regiment that all UFC fights seem to possess. We're basically the same stature but he looks just as big as if not bigger. The only difference is I weigh about 185lbs and minus the shoulder veins bulging out. IceJava_
Damn. Apparently this is 335lbs. It makes you respect GSP's strength and explosiveness.

Raoul Duke
So.... that "rumour" was just that. It's gonna be Sonnen vs Brian Stann at 136. UFC 136 is shaping up to be a beauty.... - Aldo vs Florian for the Featherweight title - Possibly Gray vs Frankie 3 - Sonnen vs Stann - Melvin Guillard vs Joe Lauzon ALSO!!!!!! Phil Davis out vs Rashad at 133! Possibly being replaced by Machida??? Ouch to Rashad. Dude can't catch a break.
UFCanuck
Lyoto vs. Rashad “won’t happen”, says Ed Soares By Guilherme Cruz Photo UFC Phil Davis got hurt and the UFC offered Lyoto Machida the chance to replace him against Rashad Evans at the UFC 133 main event, but the rematch probably won’t happen. On Tuesday night, TATAME spoke with Lyoto’s wife, who told us he received the offer, but didn’t decide yet to take it or not. On Wednesday morning, Machida’s manager Ed Soares told TATAME that the former light heavyweight champion decided not to take it. “It won’t happen… I think he doesn’t have enough time to get ready,” Soares told TATAME. “I’m at Rio de Janeiro with Jose Aldo, Anderson (Silva) and (Rodrigo) Minotauro, do Joinha (Jorge Guimarães) is dealing with this negotiations, but, from what I know, it won’t happen”. TATAME called Guiamarães and Lyoto, but could reach them at the moment. Stay tuned for more news.

UFCanuck
Dana White: Lyoto Machida Accepted Fight, Then Demanded “Anderson Silva Money” Do you remember earlier this morning when Mrs. Lyoto Machida claimed her husband turned down the rematch with Rashad Evans due to its last-minute nature and he didn’t want to disappoint the fans with a bad performance? Well, if you ask UFC president Dana White, that was just a bunch of Brazilian blah, blah, blah. “Machida accepted the fight [at UFC 133],” White told MMAJunkie Wednesday evening. “We knew for a couple days this was going down, and Machida accepted the fight. Then when we called back and said, ‘OK, we’re going to make this fight,’ Machida’s people came back and said, ‘We’ll tell you what. You pay us what you pay Anderson Silva, and we’ll take the fight.’ This was after they had already agreed to take the fight. “I said, ‘Are you [expletive] kidding me? I’ll tell you what. You tell Machida he achieves what [expletive] Anderson Silva has achieved, then maybe he’ll make Anderson Silva money. Have a nice day.’” With the shrewd maneuver, “The Dragon” (or at least his management) may have permanently entered the worst place in MMA – White’s doghouse. Ed Soares typically handled Machida’s business affairs, but he told Tatame earlier today that his partner, Jorge Guimarães, was spearheading the negotiations for the August 6th scrap in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There was talk that Machida backed out because White wouldn’t guarantee a title shot if he went up 2-0 on Evans. Considering we’re only 24 days away from showtime, that would be a logical reason for Machida to decline the critical contest. You always want to make sure the juice is worth the 11th hour squeeze. However, if you believe White, it was all about the dinheiro all along. Mixed martial arts is a professional sport, don’t act too surprised… After initially turning down the opportunity to rematch Evans, Tito Ortiz stepped up to the plate despite the fact he’s just 11 days removed from his UFC 132 victory over Ryan Bader. http://www.5thround....on-silva-money/ Edited July 14, 2011 by playboi19

CanucksHomer
Penn vs Condit will be so insane. I am predicting Condit by KO. you read it here first! Can't wait for this war!!!! Almost a must-win for Condit. Penn lost twice to GSP and if Condit loses to Penn that would take away some hopes of a title shot even though hes the only top 10 welterweight left that GSP hasn't beaten. The way i see it: Winner of Penn vs Condit takes on Fitch. Winner of that takes on GSP/Diaz. But i would be hesitant to give Penn a 3rd chance.
