SabreFan1
Conor did say that Alvarez was easy to hit. He wasn't kidding....
SabreFan1
So far I've only found a couple fighters who tweeted about Conor. Neither of them were interesting enough to post here.

Aside from the first minute, it was a spectacle. You listed GSP before, and I'm a big fan, but even though technically he was close to untouchable, watching him in those wins left something to be desired. Not exactly the case here. Tonight was a clinic, no doubt, but Conor is jut establishing his legacy. He's not at the top level yet, if he can defend either title a few times no doubt he will be up in GOAT status. And about GSP, were his fights the most exciting, no. But he constantly dominated the fight, he made division 1 all-American wrestlers look like amateurs. If Dana presses the issue, I could totally see him filming himself throwing the featherweight belt in a trash can and mailing in the trash can/belt to UFC HQ in Vegas and then posting it on social media. If he wants to try to defend both belts in different weight classes then let him. He's a big money fighter for the UFC, they could make a ton of money if they let him.

If Woodley ended the round on top, and not the other way around MAYBE. With Wonderboy recovering and ending on top, I think it was a 10-9. There is no doubt we'll get this score card soon, especially with the blunder in announcing it etc. Not very often I am curious to see them, however like the Hendricks GSP cards I am with this one. Judge #2 scored the 1st round 10-8 not the 4th.... hmmm Edited November 13, 2016 by SabreFan1

SabreFan1
They already tried to ninja take his featherweight belt! Bruce Boudreau
On 10/9/2016 at 8:40 AM, Down by the River said: GSP was my favorite fighter to watch in the UFC, but now he is just an exercise professional. He works out, gets sponsors, posts some videos, and then does some interviews saying he's coming back to the UFC wearing the clothes of his sponsors. Its just an act to keep the $ rolling in. This talk has been going on for 2-3 years. Can hate some of the things Dana White says, but he's right about GSP. Gegard Mousasi is one of my new favorites. He also called out fans for being 'stupid' for liking fighters because of what expensive stuff they post on instagram. Just another Conor jealous hater like that Khabib guy. Says he doesn't deserve title shot.

It's not just up to Dana, especially now. He cashed out his previous 10% ownership stake with the new owners purchase. Unless they gave him back some of that equity, the purses aren't coming out of his pocket any longer.

Whatever the case he had a chance to pay the fighters more instead of continuing to exploit them like he does even after selling his stake. SabreFan1
Just finished watching the live Conor post-fight interview on the UFC's YouTube channel. He announced that his wife is pregnant and that he is going to push even harder for an equity stake in the UFC. I highly doubt that they will give him any percentage. Even a 1% stake is worth $42 Million. Also, it would set a bad precedent if they paid a fighter with an equity stake in the company.
