Canucks_fo_life
I feel sorry for the people who have to work today, but atleast you can call in sick If I had to work today I woulda called in sick in no time...this is frackin retarded outside This is the 3rd major snowstorm in just over a week, and all this snow has piled up one after the other There's gotta be 35cm+ on the ground outside, with 15-20 more on the way accorinding to Mark Madryga By the end of it all, theres probably gonna be 50-55 cm (maybe more) on the ground The side roads havent even been plowed, what a surprise Hmmm..I wonder if this snow will stick around for a white christmas Edited December 24, 2008 by Canucks_fo_life

Starbug
Victoria could have the whitest Christmas in Canada. Although rain is falling this morning, a snowfall warning is still in effect with an estimated 15 centimetres today and overnight. It seems implausible, but it's true, said David Phillips, senior climatologist with Environment Canada. As of yesterday, the city of gardens was the snowiest of Canada's top 50 urban centres, and if the forecast bears out, we'll hold that position on Christmas Day. At 41 centimetres, Victoria's snowpack tops Winnipeg (24 cm), Quebec City (26 cm) and even the North Pole (40 cm). There were no new measurments available early today. The snowpack, the amount of snow on the ground, is measured by sticking a ruler into the snow at 7 a.m. full article I haven't seen any new snow yet today, just rain...
