hockeyville88
SFU has it's first snow alert of the season up Burnaby Mountain could get a mix of rain and snow Tuesday night and early Wednesday. A few flurries are in the outlook for Wednesday night, then rain mixed with snow Thursday morning. Before you drive on Burnaby Mountain, check the SFU Road Conditions report It's sooo damn cold today. It was warmer at the ice rink than it was outside

SlayerS_BoxeR
SFU has it's first snow alert of the season up It's sooo damn cold today. It was warmer at the ice rink than it was outside I notice that some of the puddles were JUST starting to freeze over. You know, that really thin layer of ice when you put water in a cold fridge? I've already lost my sense of what cold REALLY is. 2 degrees is not cold.

BuckyHermit
who's the SFU guy again? During the insane snowfall a couple years ago, a bunch of students and I were looking at the webcams at SFU just for the hell of it. There was a security guy at the entrance to the university blocking the road and telling people to turn back due to the campus being closed. As he did that, buses and cars around him got stuck. He helped them out by digging them out with a handheld stop sign (no shovel available)... and then he realized his patrol car had been plowed in during all of that. Stuck, he had no choice but to hang around, throw around some snowballs, etc. He amused us for a looooong time that night, lol. Actually, it's not normally that bad. But I was there in time for their coldest winter in recorded history. Ask your relatives about the winter last year. Instead, I got -11 C and -20 C, respectively. And I wanna see SFU Guy again too. I've missed him. Edited November 10, 2010 by BuckyHermit
