Champions of Nothing
CKNW is definitely lying. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-74_metric_e.html No snow for Vancouver according to that link, but a "60% chance of flurries or rain" in Nanaimo on Saturday. AmazingNuck
My weather app on my iPhone 4 is calling for snow Thursday, Friday, Saturday in Richmond. I'm thinking SFU guy might be busy this weekend since if it's snowing in Richmond, it will likely be snowing there. I hope not. Don't have snow tires and probably won't get any. luongoisdaman
They have a wind warning up but no snow warning...yet http://www.sfu.ca/security/sfuroadconditions/ All I know is it's insanely cold up there. Like you can totally tell the difference at the top of the hill vs. at the bottom. SFU guy is going to have a busy winter methinks! I agree 100% with that statement. It's so annoying having to dress one way for the time when I'm waiting for the bus in Richmond, and another for the time I spend up at SFU. The temperature up there with windchill must be at least 5-6 degrees lower than Richmond.
Tenacious
My phone is calling for rain and snow on Friday with a low of 1 degree. In kinda related news, it's supposed to be really cold and sunny a couple times in the next week. Some of my favourite weather.
Don't.Mess.With.Kes<3
doubt we'll see snow in novemeber. Definitely not this early. I must say I can't wait though! Experience the snow for a week or two then off to Mexico in late december :D
BuckyHermit
From last winter: Yes, I could touch my neighbor's roof. And steal his roof tiles. Not that I did it. *whistles innocently* After I took this video, it snowed an additional 8 inches. All the snow just freezes over and the air is dry as hell. Nighttime is brutal.

They had an advisory when I went to Mexico and it was fine. As long as your in tourist towns and not actual Mexico it's alright. Places like the Cancun main strip are safe. Although I've seen some people fighting there, but they have people patrolling.

Wetcoaster
You can't rely on the weather network past a day and a half ahead. Your best best is local weather reports. Yup here is Global BC showing low temps dipping down to -10° over the weekend (highs of 0°) and continuing to drop with some snow in the forecast: http://www.globalnews.ca/weather/index.html And for the ski buffs (as opposed to those who ski in the buff) - Whistler Mountain announced Tuesday it will open six days early, on Friday, Nov.19 with five lifts including Creekside Express. Blackcomb Mountain will open on Thursday, November 25, Whistler lackcomb’s official opening day, according to a news release. http://www.vancouversun.com/Whistler+Mountain+open+Friday+skiing/3837101/story.html#ixzz15TKx8AuG
