RUPERTKBD
So... Geovany Soto has forgotten how to hit, Rich Harden has lost 5 MPH on his fastball, Derrek Lee has picked up from last year and continued to suck, Milton Bradley has also forgotten how to hit and is injury prone, Ryan Dempster continues to make a case that last year was a gigantic fluke, the bullpen blows, Zambrano is injured/a head case, and now our best player is out for 6-8 weeks and possibly the season. I am officially worried.
hank4hire
Brett Cecil looked good again albeit in his 2nd start. This gives me cautious optimism that the rotation can still keep the Jays in the race
Snake Doctor
The Jays will destroy AJ Burnett on Tuesday. They know everything about this guy.

hank4hire
Halladay shows cy young form in dispatching the yankees of New York. Burnett struggles with command and allows runs despite limiting the hits from the jays. Take that NY
Chester
Blue Jays at it again. They just keep finding ways to win. With their inexperienced rotation, loss of BJ Ryan.. it's really quite remarkable.

marleau_12
Ick, Matsui just struck out after being up 3-0 in the count with the bases loaded. 2-2 in the top of the 9th.

Hordichuk
I don't like them, but it's hard not to because you see them all the time and they keep winning.
Chester
Richmond pitching well right now. In the 6th, 2 hits no runs for Chisox. 2-0 Jays at the moment. Solid.
Chester
Oh fail. Richmond with 7 great innings. Carlson goes in the 8th, gives up a 2run shot. All tied at 2.
Chester
Squeeked out the 3-2 win, Rios with the bottom of the 8th RBI nice! 4 straight over the chisox. Richmond with the no-decision though. Uhg poor guy. Can't buy a break. Pitches 7 amazing innings, gives up no runs, leaves the game up 2-0, Carlson comes in, gives up 2, Jays go on to win. Richmond doenst get the W. Oh well. Gretzky's Mullet
Too bad for Richmond today. And to me it's a little bit unfortunate the way baseball is scored, that Jesse Carlson can get credit for a win in a game that he nearly screwed up for his team. It might be nice if they tinkered with that such that no pitcher can get a win in a game where they are charged a blown save: maybe give it to the pitcher right after instead? Doubly bad for me, because I had Richmond in fantasy too. EDIT: Incidentally, if I had told any of you a year ago that of all the BC born major league pitchers out there, Scott Richmond would be the one off to the best start in 2009 at this point, would you have believed me? Twas
I wish the Jays would play the Mariners on the weekend. Stupid games are all weekday games.
marleau_12
Yankees are up 5-2 in the bottom of the 1st. Tex and A-Rod hit back-to-back homeruns. Teixeria's was a 3 run bomb. A-Rod's was a solo shot and Cabrera just brought home Cano. Come on, Yankees! Go for the sweep! :D
