WhiskyDrinker
i am a dodgers fan (blame Orel)... but i would love to see Cito and the boys make it to the playoffs... ROY HALLADAY... incredible.. if he played in the United States, he would be a god damn poster boy with endorsement after endorsement.. unfortunate

Gretzky's Mullet
Apparently Carlos Beltran might have swine flu. My favourite player and on my fantasy team, ouch. http://www.nypost.com/seven/06032009/sport...tran_172355.htm
Hordichuk
Deadspin's Tommy Craggs' take on that. A producer for the Mets television network may have swine flu, and Carlos Beltran and John Maine both have unspecified stomach ailments. Rest assured this story will be handled with measured calm and forbearance by the New York media. Wait, what's that? "Pig Panic"? Never mind. hank4hire
^^ Even though he relies on finesse and location as opposed to power it will be a tough road back to the majors coming back from injuries at age 43. Happy trails mr Glavine
marleau_12
Wow, you must've been watching baseball for a long time to be a Hershiser fan! I'm hoping the jays have some success so that Halladay doesn't bolt after his contract is up. He would get much more fanfare as a yankee but it would just kill me. How is it a bloke from england follows baseball and hockey? Shouldn't you be watching football (soccer)?
hank4hire
He just moved there like, 2 years ago, lol. Braves also picked up Nate McLouth. Pettitte's getting roughed up so far. 4-1 Texas going into the 3rd.

Citizen Erased
The way the rest of the AL East is playing, it looks like the poor O's will be out of it by the all-star break. Lucky for them they have all those games against the Jays.

Hordichuk
I'm sure all 10 remaining fans will be upset. Luckily Ravens camp opens in August so they'll have a distraction.
