Raoul Duke
Great job tonight by my boy Scottie!!! Nicely done! And man I'm really starting to like David Aardsma as the closer for the M's. Throws like JJ, except has control!
Gretzky's Mullet
Well this is my first drunken post in this thread but I just want to see that damn the Blue Jaus are fracking awesome without having much proven pitching to speak of and having Rios and Wells lick my balls all season long. Gretzky's Mullet
Makes you wonder how they would be doing with a healthy rotation. Rios is starting to swing the lumber better but Wells continues to suck as$.... Good luck with the hangover
Raoul Duke
I was waiting for Aardsma to throw a different pitch but he just kept pumping fastballs and none of the padres could hit it. It seems to explode out of his hands
hank4hire
Jays sweep the world champs who can't seem to win at home for some bizzare reason. A sweep in washington can get them right back in the race (is that too much to ask for?). Hey Zambrano, what do you think about Pedro Martinez wanting to sign with the cubs? The Alchemist
I stopped listening to the game at 3-1. I hate when that happens. And I'd love Pedro for the Cubs, preferably as a RP though.

gmen81
A big thing that turns me off of watching baseball is when the pitcher keeps to use the pick-off move. They should make a rule where you can only try to pick off the runner 3 times per batter. Because honestly that makes the game sooo boring. I♥Wellwood
Quick question for you baseball fans, I've wondered this for a while but why are the angels called the la angels of anaheim I've never figured it out

I♥Wellwood
It's a long story but mostly because everytime a new owner came along, they wanted to change the name. I remember them as california angels as a kid, they originally played out of LA but then they moved to Anaheim, subsequently Disney bought the team and wanted to incorporate 'Anaheim' to help promote Disneyland. The most recent owner Art Moreno (he's like the Mark Cuban of baseball) wanted LA in the name to draw fanbase from the LA region (dodger land) thus arriving at the name: LA angels of Anaheim

gmen81
I figured this would happen. The Jays sweep the Phillies, but I said watch them get swept by the Nationals
