RUPERTKBD
I suppose because he worked for Billy Beane in Oakland for a while...not that that makes him a competent GM, but that may be part of the reason. I don't follow the Jays, what don't you guys like about JP? What is he doing wrong?
Gretzky's Mullet
Part of my dislike for Ricciardi is his belligerent attitude. Like last year, when he laid into Adam Dunn to a caller at a Toronto sports radio show for no reason at all. Maybe they're not interested in him, but he doesn't need to dis a guy who's never had any dealings with Toronto. Makes your organization look bush league. I also agree with Rupert. Vernon Wells is a boat anchor for this team. JP throws a bunch of money at oft-injured and perenially inconsistent AJ Burnett. As if he was going to stay after last season. If any of you recall, I called him leaving months in advance, and someone even sigged it to prove me wrong later on. Grossly overpays for BJ Ryan. Add to that a very poor handling of the Frank Thomas situation. Apparently refused to trade Alex Rios for Tim Lincecum, though that's more rumour, it's still a disgrace. Revolving door at the shortstop position. Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 things he's done that I agree with: pay Roy Halladay, dump Shea Hillenbrand and hire Cito Gaston. Bernie Brewer
(Late but) PRINCE! Lame Derby, but still awesome he won. I like how everybody said after the first round, "he's fat so he will get tired". Because Nelson Cruz is in worse shape. Also, Berman is a friggin idiot. Cannot stand him. Joe Morgan also. Re Ricciardi, wow, so sorry. Glad that both of my teams (Ms, Brewers) have competent management.

b3.
People were trashing him, and I wanted to know why, not being a Jays follower. As far as I know, nothing new has happened. Let's put it this way, he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Gretzky's Mullet
I was kind of rooting for Nelson Cruz just cause I know it would've burned up Carlos so much. But I didn't mind seeing Prince win. Not the same magic as last year though. Somehow those guys just don't have that look of boyish awe of their own work like Josh Hamilton did last year. Ryan Howard maybe, he was clearly having the most fun. Carlos Pena was enjoying himself too. Was a little disappointed in Adrian Gonzalez though. Redwings4Cup
Homerun derby was so boring. Back in the day, I would cheer for players and admire their amazing abilities. Now that they're my age....F*** them. LOL. Making millions of dollars to hit a baseball with a piece of wood. Ugh. Sickening.
