hank4hire
It's easy to say that the Dodgers have a chance^^, they got the best record in baseball right now
Raoul Duke
I'm cool with the Dodgers winning it all. I'd kill to finally get to see a Dodgers/Red Sox WS. However, something tells me the Phillies are just a little too damn good in the NL. F-ing Ibanez.....
Gretzky's Mullet
The division is so crappy, and their bats have been underperforming this year, so I think they have a better chance than most people realize, even Ms fans. Also, people may freak out if they trade Bédard/Washburn, but replacing one of them with Olsen/RRS will be worth less than the upgrade from Cedeño to a ML-quality SS. MeatCurtainsMcGee
The Jays need to start winning games right now to try and convince Halladay that they can be competitive. If they sh!t the bed against the Sox and Rays in the next 10 days I think he'll accept a trade.
b3.
Are there any rumored teams for Doc? I heard the Angels.. If Doc gets traded, I'm done with the Blue Jays.
Bernie Brewer
I don't know if this is totally true. Some of them have been, but those are somewhat balanced by huge overachievement from Russell Branyan, a career season for Franklin Gutierrez and very steady production from Ichiro. I like Beltre ok (great defensive player), but I'm done thinking he can live up to the hype. Griffey was never going to hit for average here this late in his career. Jose Lopez is down a bit, but Johjima's hitting better. So realistically, I think the hitting has been about what should've been expected, which was mediocre to average. The only guy who I'm surprised hasn't done better actually is Balentien, who's a little slower to develop than I would've liked. They probably need to keep one of Bedard or Washburn, but perhaps trade the other. I'd doubt if either was back next year, so take your pick

b3.
There was a report yesterday (I believe it was someone at MLB.com) that stated JP has informed the Yankees and Red Sox that Halladay will not be traded within the AL East. The names most often mentioned have been the Phillies and Cardinals. I'm kind of surprised there are no rumours floating around about the Cubbies because of the two Canadian starters on the roster, although I don't think even Riccardi would be stupid enough to take on Dempster's salary. Okay, that makes sense. How deep is Dempster's salary though?
RUPERTKBD
Mainly I was thinking of trading away Orlando Hudson and keeping useless Russ Adams, there are other things he did where I just wondered "WHY??!?!?!" Seriously though, JP needs to be fired, he's had more than enough time, now he's thinking of trading away the best pitcher or at least one of the best pitchers in baseball because of his crappy "managing," just bring Ted Rogers back from the dead and raise the payroll again. Hehe, "poo holes." btw I don't really follow MLB anymore, every year was the same old thing...

hank4hire
I like O-Dog, but it would be pretty crowded at 2nd with he and Aaron Hill both on the squad. Neither of them strike me as a shortstop, and I'm quite happy with what Scutaro has done there, so I'd have to say that not keeping Hudson (as good as I think he is) was the right move. BTW: I agree that Riccardi has outlived his usefulness in T.O. Word is the team is looking for a CEO to take over from Paul Beeston. Hopefully whoever eventually takes over the post will bring in a new GM.
HamburgerCowboy
I don't even know why Halladay is still with the Jays. They will never make it far. They started out good, but like all Toronto teams, they fell to rock bottom.
b3.
So Julio Lugo got designated for assignment. On TSN it said that Toronto signed a shortstop, missed the name..

gmen81
They started out good because they were playing against teams from the relatively weak AL Central.
