b3.
Is Travis Snider in AAA?
CFF7
^ yeah If Halladay was traded to the Phillies, the deal would have to include J.A. Happ, that guy is good.

Gretzky's Mullet
You're still a hater? Actually wait, who the heck are you? You just seem to have appeared over the last few days spouting out anger and hatred towards moi. Don't blame me if you are upset at home with your performance or have family issues. Sorry but that is your problem Mr. Anger Now that game between the A's and Twins was a decent game. Too bad the ump screwed it up. That being said, baseball is usually boring drivel. Gretzky's Mullet
So, any Dodger or Ranger fans out there? Here's some fun math. Andruw Jones. The Dodgers gave him a huge deal last summer, and lived to regret it pretty fast. That would be because he played like garbage for them, and had no power. This year he's doing marginally better after being released and signed for the league minimum by Texas. Definitely has more home runs. On a home run/$ basis: Andruw Jones hit 3 homers for the Dodgers, at a price of $11.9 million per home run. Andruw Jones is on pace to hit 25 homers for the Rangers this season, which would represent a cost to them of $20,000 per home run. In other words, on a per home run basis, the Dodgers, once the deferments and everything have been paid, will have paid 595 times as much per Jones home run for their team than did the Rangers. gmen81
I heard a rumor that Halladay would get traded to the Redsox for Kevin Youkilis. Of course other players were involved too, but the radio host said that this would never happen.

gmen81
They also talked about Halladay and Wells going to the Mets for some players who I forgot who they were. But Philly seems like the most probable destination for Halladay.
Likewise
Not even sure why Snider is in AAA.. Should switch with Delucci, that guy's useless Worse fielding than Delucci but at least he can hit Millar is just painful to watch, only probable reason we kept him was because of his Grand Slam
Bernie Brewer
Late but Braden Frikin Looper! 7 innings of shutout, bullpen gets it done...wow, the Pirates suck. The Brewers have taken the last 18 of 19 from them.

b3.
This has been bothering me for awhile, so hopefully someone can answer this question. Sometimes when someone turns a double play, they will say something like 6 4 3 double play etc. What do those numbers mean?

RUPERTKBD
I almost feel sad for Jays fans. If the Brewers/Ms were in this kind of situation, I would have full confidence that the GM could fleece another team for 1.5 years of Halladay. But, you guys have JP. I've loyally followed enough crappy (and crappily mananged) sports teams that I understand what that's like. Jays fans, what kind of prospects would you expect to be involved as part of a deal? Where is your farm system weakest, do you think, in terms of positions? All of these kinds of things I have no idea about.

hank4hire
If Doc goes ( which i am not a fan of but it seems innevitable), I'd like to see a scenerio of Doc to the Dodgers for Clayton Kershaw, a grade A prospect and a future pick
The Alchemist
I'd be both thrilled and pissed if the Dodgers got Halladay. Pissed because it makes it that much harder for the Cubs to win the WS and thrilled because I put money on the Dodgers at 17-1 to win the WS before the season started. Gretzky's Mullet
Pitching, pitching and more pitching. For example, if Doc goes to the Phillies, Happ has to be coming the other way (plus a bunch more). With a solid starting rotation, a team can get by without as much offense. Plus, it has been shown that you can get decent production from less expensive players. Case in point: Jose Bautista, who is currently the Jays' best outfielder.
