I guess this isn't like hockey where the GM or JP in this matter would send players down and bring them up eh?

Because it was mentioned that when Gibbons was fired and Gaston was re-hired, Cito brought up Lind permanently.

Lately, I find myself to be a sucker on betting underdogs lol

Just wondering, do you know what is the purpose of the reverse line movement? It just doesnt make sense on why the lines would shift the reverse direction when there is already so much action on it.

A prospect would've been nice but they seem content just to dump his salary

Thank god I didn't end up buying a Rios jersey. I was going to buy a Burnett one last year, but decided not to.

I do have a Jays shirt with Rios on the back from a few years ago (before he reached his current level of sucktitude). I guess now it's a cooking/gardening shirt.

Just another drawn out example of Ricciardi's incompetence: two years ago, this guy nearly fetched Tim Lincecum. Now he's worth nothing. To tell the truth, I won't really miss him, but this is a great example of poor management of assets.

Another spectre to raise? The Blue Jays' best hitter is making $412,000 right now, and his contract's up at the end of the year. I realize he can't just walk, but the Jays are going to have to pay Lind a decent raise.
