There were a few Burr bashers last season that couldn't wait to get their digs in. Never mind that the rest of the players were just as bad, even though Alex actually had an excuse, not that he'd use it, as he had 3 major injuries, and was always in recovery or trying to get back to game speed. The reality is cdc always finds a player or two every season to do this to. Burrows is about the only core player that could reasonably be traded who i would be ok keeping especially since the sedins are going nowhere. Ultra smart hockey player who can play anywhere on the roster, can change his game during the game, plays a 200' game, can PK and PP. There would be any number of teams who would love to have him.
