Hey Guys, sorry i had to make a new topic for this but i have a huge test to study for and i need some help. This is math 11

Anyways. Here we go.

Find the equation of a parabola with the maximum value of 10 and passing through the points (-3,7) and (1,-17). There are two answers.

The answers are y=-3/4(x+5)^2 +10 and y=-3(x+2)^2 +10

if you know how to do it could you please explain?

Thanks in advance

Elaina has $6.21 worth of stamps. She has twice as many 30¢ stamps as 5¢ stamps, four more 19¢ stamps than 30¢ stamps, and three fewer 15¢ stamps than 5¢ stamps. How many of each kind of stamp does she have?

(answer: 5 5¢, 10 30¢, 2 15¢, 14 19¢)
