A Game Of Thrones: To the point of the TV show, no spoilers beyond that

So the situation in Horn Hill now officially falls under the category: "It's complicated". With Dany telling Randyll and Dickon "You're fired!", there is only one male heir left of the Tarly line and he was last seen absconding with some scrolls and parchments and riding away fro the Citadel with his GF and adopted son...

Of course, men of the Night's Watch take an oath, renouncing all lands and titles, (as do maesters of the Citadel, BTW) but Sam's BFF is the King in the North and all it takes is the word of the King to get around those annoying oaths...

Of course, Horn Hill is still officially under the control of Cersei...

Little Finger just trying to stir up some more chaos so he can climb his ladder, only to find Arya waiting at the top holding a knife to his neck like he did to her father.

He's used to playing the dangerous game, but I think his little scheme with Arya might be even more risky than he realizes. Bran basically told him that he knows all of his little secrets when he quote the Littlefinger line "Chaos is a ladder".

While it's true that Bran is now the Westerosi version of a Borg, he's certainly going to favor Arya over Petyr, so his attempt to cause friction between the Stark sisters could easily blow up in his face.

BTW: What does everyone think of the theory that Bran and the Three Eyed Raven (the old one, played by Max von Sydow) are the same person?

That whole arc is so confusing but it seems plausible.

There's another one that suggests Bran is the Night's King, but I find that one less plausible.

He's also Bran the Builder according to many ASOIAF theorists....

My thought was that Cersei might not be telling the truth about her being pregnant, but knows that that will buy her Jamie's loyalty for a little while longer.

According to many ASOIAF theorists, you're correct.

They point to the fact that Maggy the Frog (correctly) predicted that Cersei would have three children and that all would die. "Gold will be their crowns and gold will be their shrouds" (or something like that)

If Cersei has another kid, it pretty much blows Maggy's prophecy out of the water and we'd have to start disbelieving all GoT prophecy, including the one about the Valonqar...so, this would tend to support the theory that Cersei is lying, or that the kid (and maybe the Queen?) will not survive the requisite 9 months.

Excellent episode!!  You guys will love it when you watch it on Sunday.  I'll bet it would have been even better with with decent sound though.

Going to stick away until a copy with better sound is available. Thanks for the heads up.

The video is captured in HD, but whoever recorded it didn't know how to capture sound so he put a mic in front of a speaker.  Even before I heard him cough once a few minutes into the episode, I could tell that's what happened.
