Was just listening to John Mellencamp talking about Johnny Cash and how all artists take a bit from another and add some of themselves and make it their own.

The sky is crying is an Elmore James song, most famous to our generation with Stevie Ray of course. First famous though by Albert King, also closer to Stevie Ray's rendition.  Great songs do have 9 lives, I agree with Mellencamp. Rave on...
