UnkNuk
One of (many) Dylan songs whose lyrics make absolutely no sense to me but mesh with the music to make a cool song. Edited July 11, 2022 by UnkNuk 2 2 Link to comment

UnkNuk
I've been reading "A Simple Twist of Fate" which is about the making of the classic album "Blood on the Tracks" by Bob Dylan. Dylan recorded the album in New York in September 1974. The master tapes were ready to go but there was a delay in actually producing the lps. During the delay, Dylan started having second thoughts about some of the songs on the album. So he headed to Minnesota and in late December re-recorded those songs with another group of session players. And some of those songs replaced the versions that had originally been intended. Here's an example of how differently the album might have sounded. This is the second version of "You're a Big Girl Now", recorded in Minnesota, which made it onto the album: And here's the original version, recorded in New York, which was first intended to be on the album: 1 1 2 Link to comment
