Nuxfanabroad
^Thanks CD. Been listening to this album & "Siren"(Jerry Hall is the mermaid, cover photo) a lot lately. VERY ahead of their time. You'd swear the Chilis studied this sound religiously, wouldn't you? 1 Link to comment

Their 70's, driving beat sound. Brian Eno with pioneering synth work, present on first few albums. Then in 80's, more commercial, with '82 breakthrough, "Avalon". Next Bryan Ferry breaks away for quite the solo career(CD's: "Bete Noire"; "Boys & Girls"). Also did a great album of Dylan covers, "Dylanesque". FM radio would always play just a few of Roxy/Ferry's hits, over the years. Thank Gawd for Utube - so much to discover. 1 Link to comment

She'd later leave him & go on to have 4 runts with scoundrel Mic Jagger. Never knew about this tune..man, it's sweet! 1 Link to comment
