Well, that sucked. Shouldn't be surprised, Milos can't seem to beat the top guys (Nadal still counts as that when he's healthy/on his game) in any of the Majors.

The top guys are just too good it seems and are able to pick apart Milos, he pretty much has to win every service game if he hopes to win, it's easier for the top guys to break Milos then Milos breaking them.

Glad CoCo is gone...didn't watch much of her games, but from what I did see and some highlights...what a cow. I almost wish she had faced Serena just so she could have laid the utter smackdown on her and humiliated/humbled her.

Well, we don't get to see Milos in the final, but we get the next best thing! Another Fed vs Nadel Grand Slam final. Pretty sure lot of people didn't think they would ever see another one of those, with Nadel's injuries and Fed's age/injuries and with the emergence of Murray and Joker.

I'm actually more excited to watch this then I would have been a Milos final. Hoping for a Fed win, but as long as it's great Tennis I'll be happy with either one winning.

Wow, didn't realize if Nadel wins this he would be first player in open era history to win each Grand Slam at least twice, not even Fed has done that.

We also get Williams Sisters going head to head again! Are we back in 2009? lol

Shame Tennis isn't a bigger sport here in Canada/N.A. I find it way more exciting to watch then Basketball or Baseball.

Anyone watching the championship between Fed and Nadal... Fed was serving real well in the 1st set and won it but Nadal is bouncing back well here in the 2nd.. back to the old days when these two went the distance almost every time they met and they were very entertaining matches

Each set has been relatively one-sided, despite Nadal and Federer being pretty much on par

If this goes 5, I'm probably going to bed. I'm about to pass out soon. Both Fed and Nadal are playing well. As much as I want Fed to win, Rafa will probably come back and win the 4th.

Right to the bittersweet end.

Surprised that one didn't go longer tbh.

Didn't think Federer had a hope in hell after being broke to start the 5th, and then blowing a handful of break points to go down 2-0....

Epic pushback against a guy that defines compete-level.

I suppose it didn't hurt that Federer had the extra day of rest/recovery.

At a tournament as outstanding as the AO, that's something that shouldn't happen imo.  Both semis should be on the same day.

perhaps, given Federer is 5 yrs older, that is about even. Glad he finally beat Nadal, who I find very arrogant and annoying, evethough he is a great player.

I was happy to see Federer win - but the idea that he's 5yrs older is irrelevent.  The playing field needs to be level regardless of any natural advantage a player might have due to age or other factor.

I guess Fed deserved to win the Aussie Open. Coincidence though that Sampras was also the 17th seed when he won his 18th major also.. nevertheless missed the final set which turned out to be the best. Nadal showed some fight in him when he was down a set every other set, but this isn't the Nadal who always found a way to beat Fed back then. But he deserves some credit for forcing a 5th and deciding set. This is also probably the last major Fed has won since Joker, Murray, Raonic will all want to bounce back next major in Wimbledon.

FTFY, and it was an awesome match to watch, two awesome players playing each other for what may be the last time in a major final

I feel awful for Shapovalov. Reckless, stupid, and immature of him to fire the ball so hard in frustration. Absolutely did not mean it, but will likely be fined/suspended.

Puts a damper on an amazing effort by Pospisil.

If he's smart, he'll never hit a ball like that again.

Anyone hear about Genie making a Super Bowl bet with some random guy on twitter. She guaranteed Atlanta would win and promised she would go on a date with him if they didn't. Such a lucky guy. He's the real winner of Super Bowl. Nice to see Genie is making good on her end. I wonder how her boyfriend is feeling about this

Genie said she's gonna fly him out to upcoming tourney, but he has to arrange everything for the date and be gentlemen of course.

She redeemed herself a little in my eyes with this move...I was gradually losing any like I had for her on and off court....but this pulled her back ...classy.
