He is on the verge of beating Becker up a set and a break....but he will face former Top 10 player Jurgen Melzer in the final. Amazingly Milos will have dodged every other seeded player in the tournament if he wins.

Melzer has played well, but Raonic has played on another level. There's a reason why he is 15-1 so far. Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
No, I gurantee he will win, to question him not winning blows my mind. And I would never guarantee a Raonic victory over Fish, so why Melzer?
Killa
No, I gurantee he will win, to question him not winning blows my mind. Melzer has played well, but Raonic has played on another level. There's a reason why he is 15-1 so far. The reason being that he's only played small tournaments in which he's only played 2 top 10 players which aren't much of a threat at all (Almagro and Tipsarevic). Almagro's never done much away from a clay court and Tipsarevic is good but incredibly inconsistent.

And I would never guarantee a Raonic victory over Fish, so why Melzer? If Melzer is as good as fish, by which you imply by saying you wouldn't gurantee a victory over either of them, why isn't he even in the top 20? It seems people on this forum really underrate Raonic. Also, his best performance was early last season with the Aussie Open. He hasn't had a good showing in a grand slam since. He has to perform on the big stage if he wants to move forward in his career.

He has to perform on the big stage if he wants to move forward in his career. Almost no one has a good record against the big four. And you can't really say much about Grand Slams, because he doesn't stand a chance at the French with all the clay court experts, and his injury at Wimbledon, because of that couldn't play in the U.S Open. And wait for Wimbledon, he should have good results with his power combined with the fast grass courts, he should have no trouble getting to the last 16 depending on his draw. Saying Melzer could defeat Raonic has nothing to do with underrating Raonic. We're just saying Melzer is no slouch... That said I like Raonic's chances. Killa
Melzer takes the first.. So much for Raonic being guaranteed the match
g_bassi13
Pretty bad error on that set point attempt there by Raonic.
Killa
Melzer takes the 2nd set tie break! Raonic is good, but he still has a lot to learn. I think people need to quit hyping him up so much
g_bassi13
And he loses in the finals again. By his own undoing really, Raonic can't be making errors like that with the match on the line.

Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
Does anybody know why Raonic didn't take part in Dubai? Was it invitation-based?
Donky
The first ATP 1000 event starts tomorrow. Raonic drew a bye in the first round. He should easily win in the 2nd round which will set up a Third round meeting on Saturday or Sunday....with Roger Federer...
dKs89
Wow, Andy Murray is out in round 2. He lost 4-6 2-6 to 92nd ranked in the world Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
g_bassi13
Oh Berlocq, what and ass, lol. Argued to hell with the judge when Raonic's challenge overturned his point, and then he just stopped playing.
