inception 9/10

Dinner for schmucks 7/10

the other guys 8/10

Inception was a really good movie, another great act by DiCaprio.

Dinner for Schmucks was hilarious but had one of those plot's that you know what's going to happen. Always love Steve Carell in every movie.

The other Guys was as funny as I thought, Will Ferrell is hilarious with Mark Wahlberg and it had a good and surprising plot as I thought it would be different.

Sunshine - 9/10

The "monster" was a bit unnecessary at the end, but the whole movie is so good that it doesn't ruin it.

I'm surprised I had never heard of it before and that not many people know about it.

If you're looking for an awesome Sci-fi Thriller, this is one of the best i've seen. Amazing cast and directing

Valhalla Rising - ?/10

I saw the trailer a few days ago on apple.com and was quite eager to see the movie, so me and my room mate "rented" it.

...and I still don't know what to think of it.

The movie has a methodical pace with interludes of extreme violence, but I found the imagery and the uncertain doom to be a driving force for the movie. There's not a lot of dialogue, so you really have to think about the scenes and the messages they're trying to convey, which is a tough to sell to most audiences.

To sum it all up, it wasn't what I had expected from viewing the trailer, but I was still pleasantly surprised with the questions it left me once the hour and a half were up. Anything longer and it would have been a little too much to sit through.

"the Other Guys" was surprisingly hilarious. Don't get me wrong, I love Will Farrell, but I didn't think the commercials were very funny at all (GTA jokes, the peacock line, all seemed cliched and unfunny) so I had low expectations, but I must have laughed out loud atleast 6 times, and chuckled through the rest. Funniest movie I've seen this year (though Jackass 3D ad before it looked hilarious too)

8.5/10

"Aim for the bushes!" *fistbump*

Rambo IV - 3/10

I'm looking forward to "The Expendables" but I don't really like Sylvester Stallone at all.

Crimson Tide - 5/10

I like war movies but I'm not a big fan of ones set on submarines. I felt the same way about "Das Boot". The soundtrack reminded me a little bit of ROTJ's score.

Space Cowboys - 7/10

Definitely cliched, and a bit drab in the middle, but once they actually get into space there are some very interesting scenes.

I wonder if it's possible for Eastwood to make a bad movie (as in director). Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, Gran Torino, Changeling, Mistic River...he's been hitting homeruns for 20 years now. I PVR'd Blood Work and Bronco Billy which are a couple I haven't seen.

Hadn't hit the theater in a long while but hit 3 the past couple weeks.

Toy Story 3 8/10- As good as the first if not better. Good story line considering it could have been much worse.

Inception 8.5/10- I had been waiting for Inception for months now. My most anticipated movie in a long time. It was very very good but I felt it lacked something to make it an ultimate masterpiece that it could have been.

Despicable Me 8/10- Took my 4 year old son to this and I enjoyed it more than Toy Story. I think he liked Toy Story more though...Don't miss it if you like a good animated flick. Strong 3D in this movie too and I generally abhor 3D because of the glasses and the fact they gouge you at the box office for the "privilege" of watching 3D.
