The Human Centipede - 3/10

Not as gross as you'd think. Not as bad as you'd think. It actually has a little bit of a story, and the plot isn't as Swiss-cheesey as I expected it to be. Dieter Laser's performance as a complete lunatic was actually very, very good, and gains most of the 3 marks out of 10. It loses the other 7/10 for failing to actually gross people out where it could have done way better at playing on your fears.

Best quote: "God. Are you God? I'm just a puny insect. I cast out my parents, left my child, dismissed their love and led a selfish life. Just like an insect. No, my existence is even lower than insects, but... but dear God... that's how I've lived, and this is my punishment. I want to believe that I'm still a human being... Hey girls! Hey mister! What an insane world we live in. "

Favourite part: The very end. Very, very... how should I say... creepy? Scary? No idea, but it was something. And it was very, very powerfully something. If any part of that movie was to give me nightmares, it would be the last minute.

Jackass 3-d - 11/10

The atmosphere in the theatre on opening night was AMAZING. The movie was incredible, the best Jackass by far, and the 3d made scenes pop right out. The big ending was possibly the coolest ending to a movie I've ever seen. Most I've laughed since I can remember. A must-see, if you liked 1 and 2. Don't eat too much before you go. Steve-O's performance was great, especially because he's been doing these stunts drug- and alcohol-free and it's great to see the real Steve-O. Knoxville is as badass as ever, one of the coolest men in showbusiness right now. Bam's still retarded, but they get him back good in this one, and it's satisfying as all hell. I'd not hesitate to give this a higher score than 10/10. It was truly the best movie experience I've had in years. I can't stress enough how much you should see this.

Best quote and favourite part: "I'm Johnny Knoxville, and I'm ending this movie." And possibly the franchise? Who knows. But I don't think it could have been a more perfect ending.

Whooo it's my first post on CDC, i have been following these forums for a long time. But in the past you could not use hot-mail or g-mail to make an account. i guess sometime recently they changed those rules. I have been living in China for the last 3 years, quite hard to catch all the games on the web but been doing a decent job.

Anyways the last movie i seen was:

The Blind Side, with Tim Mcgraw and Sandra Bulloc

This movie was excellent enjoyed it from start to finish.:D

Secretariat - 7.5/10

Great story(in terms of the real life aspect) with a great cast(Diane Lane as Penny is superb as Penny as well as John Malkovich as Lucien). Script wise its exactly what I would expect from Disney but it doesn't have those moments that can take a film from good to phenomenal.

I will say though that the racing scenes are stunning as you are there in the race and the filmmakers didn't resort to the cheap "shaky-cam" stuff we see a lot. As well the use of the original footage from the Preakness Stakes and the tribute at the end was great.
