-DLC-
I remember that catch, it was awesome. It was, wasn't it? I wonder if half these people who say they go to the games actually do - I have my doubts. And, if so, do they watch them at all??

Canuck_4_Life
Pros: Sean Whyte's moxie Buck Pierce's moxie Lions defense (Cates and Bagg were ineffective) Cons: Sean Whyte's accuracy Lions short yardage offense (3 cracks from the 1yd line and epic failure) Damone Duckett (Mr Turnstyle reporting for duty) As Deb already mentioned, not the prettiest game, but a win over the Riders anywhere is a good thing. Twas
How is it not a good comparison? You claim you only watch the best athletes in the sport, so why watch WHL if the NHL players are better?

-DLC-
I've had season's tickets for years and have never had a beer at the game - it's terrible and expensive. And yes, I pay attention. It was a joke (the "drunk" part). And I really didn't have you in mind when I made the comment you quoted...was referring to Twas. I know you pay attention because your comments on the team/game reflect that.
Shift-4
What a tight league right now except for Montreal and Toronto.
iluvohlund
I think this thread has both CFL and NFL snobs. Just like the Canuck fans that rage on people in the lower bowl because they don't cheer loud enough for their liking and if they were true fans they'd be a certain mold. Nobody can decide what a "good" fan is. Just because someone is not as immersed in a game as someone else, does not mean they can't enjoy it like anybody else. I thought sports were here for everyone to enjoy not to fit a certain criteria of what an acceptable fan is. And just like if you don't like the CFL, NHL, NFL, MLB etc.etc. you don't need to sit there talking about how crapty it is and how it's not a "real" sport. Just don't watch it. It's really easy. There are A LOT of people who DO like it and really, who are you to tell them what is good or not? Okay I'm done.

JeffBrown
Significant roster moves for Friday's game: Printers in and Zach Champion out. It appears as though Casey Printers will make his sideline debut as a member of the B.C. Lions this Friday. According to a report by the TEAM 1040, Printers will dress as the third-string quarterback when the Lions take the field against the Edmonton Eskimos this Friday. After two injury-riddled seasons with the Tiger-Cats, in which he threw for six touchdowns, 14 interceptions and a less-than-impressive 53.0 completion percentage, Printers found himself out of the CFL. By signing with B.C. he returned to where his Canadian Football career began.
lateralus
The Edmonton Eskimos have signed free agent kick returner/receiver Skyler Green. A fourth round selection (125th overall) by Dallas in the 2006 NFL Draft, Green has spent time with the Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints. He appeared in 11 games over the past three NFL seasons. In four seasons at Louisiana State, Green had 111 receptions for 1,129 yards and 9 touchdowns.
