wcg
i agree with Rick Ball on this. Just under 10 mins of 4th quarter and leading 48-18, Calvillo still quarterbacking. Just like AV at starting Luongo 3 games in 4 nights after starting all the games previously. When Luongo's injured, he makes a statement that he has all the confidence in Raycroft. No you don't. The canucks (team foundation) is built from goalie on up. Problem with this or at least AV perspective is that foundation is based on ONE goalie. When he goes, so goes the season. I remember the Als a few years ago. Calvillo started and finished whole game all year long piled super duper numbers winning all sorts acholades. Guess what. He got injured during playoff. The backup is some White (big guy more like a defensive end). The season down the tube. I see the Canucks (at least AV) going the exact same freaking path. I just can't see AV as being a long season / cup winning tactician. He wants to win every day - that's it. I think he has to change if we need to win the cup not this year but in a couple or three years. If this trend continues, Luongo would be worn out. The so call foundation that builds on one ridiculous pillar is going to crumble.
Captain Bob
What an absolute embarrassment. I can't believe how awful we played. I wonder what off season changes we'll see.

Shift-4
This is what I call a crap sandwich with a side order of vomit and a snot milkshake. I salute the Montreal fans for such a good turnout. That is great to see for the CFL. See you next year Leos!

#1Luongo06
Jackson and Pierce - Gone. Johnson and Foley - Both UFA's. I'm looking forward to next season though with Printers, Simon, Jackson, Arceneaux, Grice-Mullen and Mallett as our core players.
Captain Bob
How about some O-lineman? The biggest weakness all season. I wonder what it'll cost us to get Calvillo? :D
silverpig
Lulay, Printers, Lee, Mallett, Arcenaux, Jackson (Paris), Simon... I also say you go with Whyte as the kicker, get some new O-linemen, and get some new young D-linemen with something to prove. As sad as it is, I think Wally has to step back as coach and concentrate on GM duties.

Canucks_fo_life
I dont think anyoen expected that, I sure didnt Was looking good after the 1st drive when we were up 3-0, those two turnovers that cost us 2 TD's early were the turning point of the game. if those dont happen, we had a chance to win
iluvohlund
After this season full blowout games,it's no real surprise they went out like this. This game really showed all the weaknesses that have been the downfall of the Lions. Huge changes need to take place on the Defence and the O line. Printers got us to the East final, he is here to stay. Congrat to the Als, good luck in the Grey Cup, especially if it ends up being against Calgary.
