Quasi
I used to work for a company where I spent a lot of their money. The company I dealt with the most I easily spent more than 7 figures a year, and I got sweet frack all out of them.
Canuck_4_Life
That was like 5 fans that tossed beer cans. You can't label all Saskatchewan fans for that. Did you watch the game today? You can't tell me that wasn't a kick a$$ atmosphere.
Quasi
So how many points will the Al's be favored by? I'm thinking a touchdown, -7?
Lucic17
What a SH*TTY effort today by the entire team. It is time for the Printers experiment to END. Just look at his record since being picked off the scrap heap, where he belongs. He was 1-4 as a starter. Now I know why Hamilton and KC got rid of him. If Wally has a brain, and I doubt that he does, he will go with Lulay and Pierce next season and GET RID of JJ and Printers. Printers is an OVERATED, OVER-HYPED HEADCASE. Mr. Shakermaker
outside ofa few bad passes, he was the least of the problem. I have never seen worse play by a defence and O-line in my life

Champions of Nothing
Players I want gone: Shirko-Hajji Rasouli - most of the pressure all season came from the right side Korey Banks - makes big plays, but too many blown coverages and never shuts up Buckarious Pierson - Casey printers now, Travis Lulay down the road Javier Glatt - Sorry, but he couldn't stop a run up the middle if the guy tripped over his own shoelace. Keep him in a support/special teams role if need be, but can't be a starting 3 linebacker Brent Johnson - Noticeably lost a step this season. He is one of my all-time favorites, but we might have to give him the Jason Clearmont treatment. Paul McCallum - too many muffed punts and not enough strength for kikcoffs. It is Whyte's time. Offensive Line. second biggest problem this season. Partly due to injuries, partly due to suckage. other than Rasouli, everyone else should be kept, but a few new guys need to brought in to fight for each spot. I think only Reid spot at Center should be a given. Runningback. We should be able to have a very good tandum in Mallet and Jamal Lee next year. Mallet to pound and Lee, despite the big body has the speed. runs a 4.3 40. All good here. Reciever. Once again, one of the best in the league. Simon, Jackson, Arceneaux, Grice-Mullen. Good mix of size, speed and big play ability. No changes needed. Quarterback. Casey has earned his spot as the starter going into training camp next season. Didn't have a great game today, but we got behind early and he was forced to try to do it all himself. No help up front whatsoever, and can't back off the rush with the running game when you are down 20 points. Groom Lulay to be the guy down the road, Casey is our guy now. Defensive Line. Only Foley inpressed me this year. Couldn't generate nearly enough pass rush consistently all year unless we blitzed, then we gave up the big plays. We may have lead in sacks, but that's only because we were forced to bring 5 or 6 guys so often to make up for Foley doing it all himself. Brent Johnson has clearly lost a step. Aaron Hunt had an off year, but I still have faith. Need another big body up front in the middle as well as a replacement for BJ. Linebackers. OMG where do I start? Anton Mckenzie looked great at times, looked awful at times. Most inconsistent defender. He is good on the pass rush, but is too slow to cover anybody and missed a lot of tackles. Glatt isn't nearly a good enough tackler, not strong enough to play in the middle. Korey Banks? Why the hell is he playing linebacker? My god. James Yurichuk could earn a spot in camp next season. Defensive Backs. They make big plays. Simple as that. Problem is, far too often it is for the offence. After the horrendous performance against the AL's today, huge changes are needed. I have NEVER, EVER seen so many wide open receivers in my life. Korey Banks is the worst of them all for blowing coverages. Darren Toney was thrust into a spot he isn't used to due to the injury to Tristan George, fair enough. Glover has had some very poor games this season. Baron Miles can't cover for all of these guys mistakes. I would not be against a comeplete house-cleaning this off-season, and have faith that Wally is the man to do it. I also wouldn't mind seeing him step back from coaching to focus on the GM side, and allow a fresh mind to step in. /rant.

otherwise
I call that Hell, but that's just me. Before the playoffs even started, I said that, as a Lions fan, I wanted to avoid Mosaic at all costs. Beer cans, watermelons, the entire province.......take your pick. RUPERTKBD
So what happened to make you so bitter towards the lovely province of Saskatchewan, not to mention watermelons and beer in cans?

-DLC-
I hate to admit it, but roughrider fans really are the best. Look at the atmosphere there, I wish it were like that in BC Place. And they know to shut up when they are on offense. Lions' fans are retards. They yell and scream on offense when you should be quiet. They are and they aren't. Sure, they have the whole "Rider pride" thing going and the entire place is into it, but when I saw them pelting our team with items on the sidelines and the Lions had to leave the bench because of it, I decided they weren't. There's a fine line between being a "great fan" and being a drunk hooligan and, in many cases, the latter prevails. EDIT: missed the rest of the conversation. It wasn't just beer cans LH...they threw a garbage can, their cells phones (brilliant) and other stuff. Plus, I'm likely biased because on the CFL forum the Saskatchewan mods are obnoxious and arrogant, tainting my view of things. Sure, you can't judge an entire fan base on the actions of a few, but having been on that football forum there were many stories being shared about how some of the "zealous" Rider fans got out of hand. Plus, I've never heard a group self promote themselves as "the best" so much in my lifetime. So I can live without 'em. My favorite fans over there were the Stampeders and the Tiger Cats fans. I'll be in the Als corner....pulling for Geroy's cousin to get a GC (although, hope he's able to play...he hobbled off the field at the end there). I think they deserve it after a fantastic season. Captain Bob
^^^ They were saying after the game he probably won't be able to play. I think I'll be cheering for Montreal. Me and the guy I am sitting with are both from Montreal.
westcoast
Like I said at the beginning of the year. They need to recruit three behemoth o-line that can play and two d-line that provide run stuff/qb pressure.Losing Wake and Murphy killed them. Canucks_fo_life
I dont understand why riders fans are so smug, sure you made the grey cup, have fun, but this was the first time they hosted a west final in get this, 33 years!!?? In a 4 team division, how is it possible to fail that many times??? They have a crappy history, and anytime you put their team down its like you said something about their mom or something, they take it so seriously At the end of the day, we still have a team that plays Canada's national sport in a pro league (Canucks), while they have an team that plays an american game thats brainwashed them all into thinking people around Canada will care and pay attention to them Saskatchewan is cold, flat and boring. Vancouver is a world class city Oh and, Montreal will absolutely tool those green pieces of waste on Sunday, it wont even be close Then what Saskatchewan?? Back to the farms??? Or hopping on the Canucks bandwagon??
