canuck_rocker
Really? Another player? Another non-import to boot? This is getting ridiculous. For a last place team we've been getting absolutely pillaged again.
silverpig
You guys seen this? http://tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=308003 The CFL wants input on the OT format. The way it is now is horribly unfair and greatly favours the team which goes second.

silverpig
I have to say tho the CFL OT format is a million times better than the NFL OT format, esp in playoffs, something has to be changed.
silverpig
My proposal: A mixture of the NFL and CFL OT formats. - Start with a coin toss. Team A wins. - Team B kicks off to Team A. - Team A drives the field and kicks a field goal. - Team A kicks off to Team B. - Team B drives the field and scores a TD. Team B wins. OR - Team B fails to score. Team A wins. OR - Team B drives and kicks a field goal. The process continues until one team outscores the other and a winner is determined. It takes the having to put a whole drive together to score from the NFL and gives both teams a shot from the CFL. This is the best format I have heard, and think the CFL and NFL should both adopt it. lateralus
I'd like to see the NFL format adopted, with the exception being that a touchdown must be scored.

Canuck_4_Life
Do you guys really think Nick Setta, who's FG % has dropped 9% since his rookie year is better than Sean Whyte, who, in his rookie season, his percentage was only 3% lower in a season he probably wasn't expected to play in? To me, it's a no-brainer, you keep the younger NI kicker who you developed out of junior, over the import kicker that Hamilton has thrown into the scrap heap. Wally needs good NI talent. Those are hard to find. What's even hard to find are ratio-busters. For those of you who are not familiar with that term, it's pretty specific to the CFL, in the sense that it's given to an NI who excels at a position typically played by an import. Brent Johnson and Ricky Foley fit into that category. As for Javy, it's sad to him leave the Den, for now, however, he's always been a class act with the fans, regardless of his playing time. The effort was always there, but I'm not sure he was a good fit in the Lions defensive scheme. As for Jimenez, he's never seemed like the easiest guy to coach, for whatever reason, and in the times I've observed him, not exactly the friendliest guy with the fans either. Did all that play a role in his release? If Justin Sorenson and Jon Hameister-Ries can bring that same sort of attitude, minus the dumb penalties, then I don't see much of a drop-off. LuongoG1
Put Banks in at safety and Arakgi in as the halfback... Banks is one of the smartest defensive players in the league I don't see why he wouldn't work at safety. So much cap room for the Lions to work with now. BYRON PARKER is a free agent! b3.
I don't recall how long we signed Printers for? Do we have him for this season? Same goes for Pierce and Jackson.
