BM24
- State of the art stadium - We're on a 6 game win streak - Lulay is an absolute beast, franchise player for many, many years upcoming - Geroy is a legend - McCallum is a FG stud - We're tied for 1st in the West - Grey Cup is being hosted in BC Place this year, and guess what? We're tied for 1st, as mentioned So many positives, and we're one of thee, if not thee, hottest team in the CFL right now. Hard to believe we were happy with one win way back when, now we'll all be upset if we lose one game. One win back when we struggled, was like going undefeated. start chanting luuu! for lulay like we do for luongo next time. that would be nuts

BurnabyJoe
That stadium is amazing. Period. It looked fantastic on TV, me and my dad we're joking it felt like we we're watching Monday Night Football. Hope we can keep big crowds for the games, the crowd noise makes such a huge difference for the defence. Travis Lulay is the real deal!! For those that went, I heard the concessions we're a nightmare. I would email both the Lions and BC Place on this issue.

DonLever
It was cold there tonight. Why did they keep the roof open? They should have closed it by halftime.

Luongo_owns_your_soul
Very exciting game, a very good start for the Lions in the new BC Place. I was just listening to the radio, and I heard they were having tons of problems at the concessions. Apparently, it was taking people over an hour just to get beer and other goods. They were running out of everything, so it would've sucked if you were at the game and were looking to chow down. hopefully, they'll fix the problems for future games, because they lost alot of money tonight. Bruce Boudreau
What a great game. Andrew Harris just showed why the Lions don't need Jamal Robertson. Hopefully Buono gives Jamall Lee a chance to be involved in the run game too. The Lions can definitely have a all-Canadian RB tandem like the Eskimos do with Messam and McCarty next year. Tim Brown needs to be better returning kickoffs and punts. The Lions should be using Kierrie Johnson on punt returns instead of Marco Iannuzzi. Stadium looked great except for the roof which just looks like a hole in the roof when open. Jumbotron looked good. Halftime show was awful... I don't know why they think they needed to do one that big. Anyways good game. Looking forward to seeing what the crowd is like next week.
FeStealth
Great game, although I was getting a bit worried after the 1st quarter and the Lions failing to convert on grade A chances. The stadium looks great, although the lineups for the washrooms and especially the concessions were way too long. Maybe they're working out the kinks, but waiting for 40 mins to get chili dogs and then being told they didn't have anymore? For some reason when patrons were starting to flow in, they closed down some of the concession stands..... anyone knows why?
Evolution
The upgrades to the stadium were really well done, feels completely different now. However the concessions were a complete disaster tonight. They were basically out of food and beer by half time. I lined up for half an hour to get a warm $8 can of beer, yup, they had to result to using cans. I went to get food and all they had was disgusting looking bratwursts, considering I had spent a good amount of time in line and was hungry I got it anyway. Oh yeah, had to get my $8 can of beer from a different line. I wasn't expecting gourmet food or anything but if they spent a year and a half hyping the relaunch of the stadium and planned on getting close to max capacity, then shouldn't they have been a bit more prepared? My friend and I decided to go have a look in the upper level, hoping the food lines would be better, nope. They actually had many concessions closed upstairs, some were only serving pop. Very poorly handled IMO.
Captain Bob
Football is played in the elements , the fans are covered. I know.... But if it's pouring they can't open the roof because the water would collect in it. If it's already open it's ok because in it's rest position the retracted roof is covered.
