lateralus
Pierce had a pretty decent game. He had one horrible turnover but the rest of the team and the officials let him down.
-DLC-
because they know they suck with him as qb Did you even watch the game? He put together a beautiful drive that Jarious came in and failed, miserably, at finishing off. And the TD that they shortchanged us on really changed the face of the game...can't cry over it now, but can't fault Buck there. Tonight's the first night that I feel like he's taking control and showing confidence and decisiveness. To the guy above - Mallett was clearly in. Wally should've challenged it, but didn't. b3.
I thought Pierce played good today, much better than last week. His last throw there was a tad wild But Beveridge, J.Johnson, and their RB had our number.
F-View
We haven't had a legitimate deep threat since Tony Simmons blew out his knees.
TheJoker19
our offensive is to predictable. run on first down get like 3-5 yards then throw on second down. and we just keep doing that through out the whole game

b3.
Wally needs 4 more wins to be the all time winningest coach. Will that happen this season? He will get it this year.
st33
The fact is, the Lions have yet to win with Buck in. You blame Jarious for that one play, but how many miss plays did Buck make during the game? Plenty. He's the one responsible for putting the ball in receiver's hands, but he failed to that today, and for most of the season. The team played with more confidence with Jackson. marleau_12
The Lions fricking blow. I don't even care anymore. What a bad team they are.

b3.
Their D line blew through our O line quite a few times this game though. I personally thought Buck played well, if we got that TD it would have been a different story.
-DLC-
Pierce seems to be turning the corner yes. I don't think Mallett was in. As soon as his weight is supported by his elbow he's down. He landed on his elbow (and the defender) and then rolled in. The ball had broken the plane and he was on top of the defender, not on the ground from how I saw it. Meaningless now though. And to the guy slamming Buck and still riding on the team's one win - on the one hand, you blame Buck for losses. But Buck is but one part of the team - our defense couldn't stop the run tonight and that played a big part of the loss. Buck showed confidence and connected on quite a few good throws, ran when he had to and took hits like a warrior after having suffered a concussion not long ago. He did his part.
