I just saw a review on youtube that said it was just like the 2nd generation one. Five For Fighting Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 I just converted from a blackberry yesterday and I am quite happy about it (other than the fact i paid $400 cause i was still left with 1.5 years on my contract). I got the 16GB 3gs. Right now I am just happy to have a touch screen phone. Looking forward to testing out a bunch of apps. I can't wait until the 3.1.2 OS can be jailbreaked. DefCon1 Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 My brother just got the iphone 3G 8GB and paid $100 for the phone on a 3 year $50/month rogers contract. There was no activation fee (special deal), so he only paid for the phone. He will get 200 minute/month talk time plus My5 plan (unlimited local calling, texting etc. for 5 numbers) and also unlimited nights (after 6 PM) and weekends. He gets 500 MB/month of data but if you add $5 more you can get 1 GB/month. I got to try out some of the apps and play around with it and it is a pretty nifty device.
