McGinnis, 24, has played in 49 games this season with the Kalamzaoo Wings of the East Coast Hockey League. In that time, the Flint, MI native has recorded 33 points (5g & 28a) along with 67 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 17 games earlier this year with the AHL’s Norfolk Admirals, where he collected three assists and 14 penalty minutes. McGinnis has played in 44 career AHL games in two seasons with Norfolk and Albany where he’s collected eight assists and 32 penalty minutes. In 92 career ECHL games with Florida and Kalamazoo, he has 45 points (7g & 38a) and 103 penalty minutes.
