2inthecup
I'm not sure, Last I heard he was, but he's apparently been doing rehab and started skating with the team 2 weeks ago. still not sure if he had surgery though. McNally will not know whether he will be eligible to play next season before the end of this academic year. That sounds about right, with surgery it would be stupid to come back that sOn. I had acl surgery and the took a piece of my hamstring and graphed it on to my knee. So not only do you have to heal on the ligament your hamstring needs to heal as well. Takes about 6 months to feel good and 18 months to get fully strong
avelanch
Despite a season shortened by injury, fourth-year defenseman Patrick McNally was also recognized on the Second All-Ivy Team. Among Ancient Eight blue liners, McNally led all in points per game and finished just two total points off the pace set by first team selection Rob O’Gara, who played in 29 games to McNally’s 15. wshdrvvn
All speculation on my part but I also wonder if he got word on his eligibility status for next season. This could be his last chance to prove his worth and possibly earn a contract.
Salmonberries
Isn't he basically a free agent now? I mean, we drafted him coming up on five years ago
Gaudette Celly
He had a great comeback season, and is showing some real heart to be playing but man, hope he's not jeopardizing his career or anything because he's projecting to be one of our better D prospects. Rollieo Del Fuego
With Hutton stating his intentions to play in the Canucks org., I think McNally would be making a mistake to go back even if he is eligible to play another year. I think Hutton and McNally would make an awesome pair.

avelanch
Isn't he basically a free agent now? I mean, we drafted him coming up on five years ago no, we retain his rights until aug 1st (or 31st? i think it the first... 90% sure) after he leaves school. Guest Dasein
With Hutton stating his intentions to play in the Canucks org., I think McNally would be making a mistake to go back even if he is eligible to play another year Regardless of everything else that goes on externally (NCAA eligibility, Hutton leaving early, etc), McNally needs to turn pro ASAP because of his age IMO - already 23 going on 24 and hasn't had a whiff of the pro game. If he's serious about having a hockey career, he should pack his bags and move his behinds to Utica after Harvard is eliminated
elvis15
for a powerplay? absolutely. for a regular ES shift? i'd rather have them paired up with a couple stay at home guys. Yeah, no kidding. People complain about Sbisa and Bieksa together (or Edler and Bieksa a few years ago) but would want to see Hutton and McNally together? They can both use speed to defend and Hutton's game is underrated defensively, but they're by no means defensive players. Hutton with Corrado might work, and McNally with one of our Russians (Tryamkin particularly) would be pretty solid.
avelanch
McNally was +1 with 2 SOG and 2 PIM in Harvards 5-2 win over #7 Quinnipiac. Plays in ECAC Championship Tomorrow

Lol, I actually think it's August 15 if memory serves, but I didn't know it extended beyond the fourth year. Thanks avelanch.

DeNiro
McNally just played an entire two minutes worth of pk time, and had a 3 on 1 chance shorthanded. He looks hobbled out there though. He looks like he can barely skate. His knee is definitely affecting his mobility.
Salmonberries
http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/juniors/live-stream-ncaa-ecac-hockey-championship/ Thanks. I would like to see the Canucks sign Kyle Baun, especially since the bloody Leafs got Casey Bailey.
Guest Dasein
Man this kid is tough If only he would turn pro ASAP... I wonder if having to go through surgery and rehab might make him consider signing a deal after this season a little harder than he has before
