b3.
We can go up to 10% over and sort it out later. Yeah, I know.
djlegere
SOB is a good asset. Either as D depth or as trade bait. Lots of teams would love to have a player like him on their team. We'll see if he fits into our cap situation.
BedBeats™2.0
$266,0000 left for Gillis to sign players. So...does he wait patiently...or initiate trading a pair of players...or does he give up on Raymond/Hansen/Glass?! Oh and im happy with the signing. Choose Hockey OB, not the Granville Strip. Gerg
peter tessier seems to think the target for bieksa is an upgrade on a 2nd line right wing. i guess 30 goal sammy isn't good enough

Millerdraft
Good news. I like O'Brien at $1.6m. He's been solid. His only real drawback now is that he still can't seem to control his playoff emotions. Hopefully he'll have that rectified this year. This has no bearing on Bieksa though, he was gone the moment Hamhuis signed on the dotted line, and it doesn't mean O'Brien stays here for sure. If Sauve has an outstanding training camp/pre-season, we might deal Shane O'Brien for that third line winger at the end of the preseason.

Magikal
Glad to see SOB back. Did not want Rome in the regular line up and this pretty much makes sure of this.
ButcherG
I am happy SOB is back. We needed someone defensively who can drop the mitts, and not hurt us by being in the penalty box. I.E. A top 4 dman in the penalty box. I am still laughing at the Rangers for taking McIlrath 10th overall. I think we will see a lot of SOB when Salo goes down with injury, and otherwise he will be splitting time with Rome over the season.
BenDrinkin
I have always thought Bieksa would make a better forward than D, but at that cap hit...
