Number One
Hamhuis runs up a mountain a day in the off season. No lie.
By-Tor
Brent Sopel had long hair. He also injured himself with a cracker
CanuckEDGE
The Canucks had Fedor (not Sergei) Fedorov and Steve (not Paul) Kariya. Thank goodness we got both Sedins!
Duncan325
Chris Levesque nearly got some ice time with the canucks despite still being in university.

CanuckEDGE
The 1994 Stanley Cup run had several massive OT winning goals. Greg Adams (2), Pavel Bure, Geoff Courtnall and one from #27 big Sergio Momesso (vs. Dallas in round two.)

By-Tor
Ron Homenuke played one game for us in 72-73. He was -3 in that game. Imagine what CDC would say about him after that game if it happened now.
CanuckEDGE
Great topic. Lots of fun. Somebody must have mentioned "the Steamer".....#12 Stan Smyl right?
By-Tor
Two different players named Mike Brown have played for the Canucks in the past 10 years. One played 16 games for us from 2000-2002 and had no points. The other played 39 games for us from 2007-2009 when we traded him to Anaheim for Nathan McIver. He is now with Toronto
CanuckEDGE
Geoff Courtnall was a very good Canuck. Trading (Greg Adams) for brother Russ wasn't nearly a success.
CanuckEDGE
If Andrew Alberts plays as well as big Marek Malik did for the Canucks, then waiving SOB will have been an even better move.
CanuckEDGE
Goalies Sean Burke, Arturs Irbe, Felix Potvin, Kevin Weekes and Bob Essensa.....all came and went.

Duncan325
Troy Gamble was always my starting goalie in NHL 93, even though he was rated 56 and Mclean had an 89, because I liked his name.
CanuckEDGE
Opinion: With due respect to Dan Cloutier and great respect for King Richard Brodeur and Captain Kirk McLean, #1 Roberto Luongo is already the best goalie in Canucks history.
Geoff Courtnall
Mikael Samuelsson shoots first like Han Solo Pavol Demitra was like a storm trooper, he shot often and mostly missed.
