Kevin Bieksa you are really...

Actually, seeing as +/- only takes into account even strength goals, the team is only +30 in 5 on 5 and 4 on 4 situations (128 - 98).

Good point, still +30 is a heady #, and supports my theory that a positive +/- is a team effort in which Bxa has merely been caught up in the wave of good team defense, as he is the only one of the group where seeing a positive +/- on his season is an aberration , not the norm.

I have to express my appreciation to CANUCKLELION. Without his entertaining opposing points this thread would not be as fun to read. Like in a good movie, you should have an interesting antihero to oppose the hero.

Or like in a good comedy, you should have at least one buffoon, slipping on banana peels, stepping on rakes and generally making a fool of himself.....

Yeah that is entertaining too. It's good CANUCKLELION is sticking with his point of view. Have to admire his tenacity.

Contributing to 86.7% of something =/= "caught up" in it.

In other words, the team's success has been a team effort, except for Bieksa? Kinda contradictory, don't ya think?

Bxa , unfortunately is now injured, with a fracture in his foot, the team has to clear 1.56 mil of cap to allow Oberg to play. I believe Bxa's injury was the rider on our bet. ie. if he was injured he wouldn't be traded at the deadline. Who will be put on LTIR to make the room for Oberg? Hamhuis or Ballard? I doubt it as they are both expected back within the next 2 weeks, Alberts? It won't clear enough space for Oberg, so that leaves Bxa.

and the people on the Titanic, in their denial of the ship sinking, went about their business.

Just kidding dude. I don't claim to be on top of every possible Canucks' news at all time either.
