Rypien.It.Up.
Kind of worried about this guy in the playoffs again. He sucks when he comes off an injury. It usually takes him 30-40 games to get his timing down. He came back for the playoffs last year, last reg game hd had 2 goals and he was very nearly point a game in the playoffs. EmployeeoftheMonth
i guess we'll find out who comes out tomorrow please god let it be Rome and not Tanev or Ballard 1. Rome isn't even close to as bad as CDC makes him out to be. (that does not mean I'm calling him good) He's a lot like Bieksa when you hated him. Every mistake was magnified because everyone was looking for it while other players could make mistakes game in and game out (cough ehrhoff...who I love) and they're beloved. 2. If Ballard is playing tomorrow and we find out that he's still got a bit of a nagging injury I'll lose it. 3. Rome > Tanev...for now.

You make some valid points.....but I think Tanev makes rookie mistakes and can skate his way out of most trouble....Rome is essentially a veteran and makes rookie mistakes, and is flat footed in his own zone. That is because Ehrhoff actually brings something else to the table, so its a trade-off. In the case of Rome, he is not effective at all offensively. Jarvis
If Rome put up the offensive numbers Ehrhoff did, obviously he'd be a better D-man than Ehrhoff. But he doesn't, and he's not even close.

I have to agree.....and not begrudgingly either....he's done pretty good for his place in the depth chart. So i'll give him that much. I'm just glad to see Bieksa back in t-minus 3 hours and 50 minutes.....not that I'm counting down the hour or anything.

Champions of Nothing
HamJuice was the best pairing out there by far tonight. For both teams. Salo and Ehrhoff made the odd error and Rome was well.... Rome.
