dinga
This thread can be locked as I didn't search to see if there was one like it. Frankly I don't care. This is my thread. Thank you Canucks for a magical season. Your play amazed me. You made the rest of the league hate us. Not necessarily a bad thing. The Aquilinis. Thank you for bank rolling this group and giving us this fantastic team this year. We are one of the best franchises out there. Mike Gillis, you did a fantastic job getting this group together. The pieces fell into place. This was a season to remember. I still remember our boys at the parade in Ottawa for Remembrance Day. Pure class. Alain Vigneault, while there has been a lot of gripes over your coaching style, I think you had great success this year. Hard to improve on this year. Well there is one thing we could do but I think you know what that is. I had the ride of a lifetime. We were the top of the heap, something I never thought would happen. We got a President's trophy and had some luck to get by some very good teams in the playoffs. Unfortunately we ran out of gas. Maybe it was a hot goalie. Maybe it was all the injuries. Maybe it was the shear amount of travel that our boys have to go through. Doesn't matter. The Canucks played hard and tried the skill game. As Bon Jovi sings, "it's a shame someone has to lose so someone can win". In 10 weeks we start over again. Mr Gillis, so can we get Shea Weber? Can we find a way to keep Kevin, Raffi, Maxim, Cory and Chris. I know some may not be free agents but they were all great over these play offs. Please don't destroy this team. It isn't broken, just injured. To the roster in general. Those who will wear the Orca next season. Please remember what you learned in these play offs. What it takes to left the cup. I don't think we didn't play hard enough or smart enough. Please continue to play with class. Hurt the other teams by filling the net. Again. Thank you for this season. I live and die with this team. The cup eluded us this year but we were so close. Rest. Get healthy but prepare to stoke the fire for the next campaign.
