Grenier has looked good through the first period with the twins. Hopefully he keeps it up!

Yup.  He's a big body too.  I've liked Gaunce this game.  He's finishing guys.  He needs to be hard to play against, and finish guys hard too.

Totally agree. Both Grenier and Gaunce have looked good. Hope this makes Hansen and Burrows (if somebody will take him) expendable at the draft to add some picks.

I thought he had a good game tonight, had the awareness to get to the right places around the net. If he keeps playing like that, he'll start banging a few of those chances in. He's tough to push off the puck down low too because of his size, and he was noticeably better in his own zone tonight too. Just goes to show what a day's rest can do for you - not bad for a 5th game in six nights.

he should go somewhere, if this team is ever going to improve there prospect depth for the future, or hey mediocrity is pretty cool.

2.5 mill cap hit. Hustles more than anyone on the team. Brings speed and more importantly leadership. Plus has chemistry with everyone. Oh, he's pretty damn good too.

I would move Burr and Dorsett before Hansen.

that's exactly why I think he can fetch a 1st rounder, or a 20 yr old range prospect, after this years playoffs teams will realize they need a guy like him.

I highly doubt Hansen will be able to fetch that much in any trade. He is those players that are extremely effective but because he is not a well known name so he can't fetch much in the market. Rather keep him and have him as a vet presence to the kids to show them how to play with hustle, grit and most importantly skill.

Stood out, had some solid chances. Very impressed with his speed for a guy who is 6'5.

Yeah, despite his height he's not the typical, plodding power forward. He plays a skill game, but does it hard and uses his speed. It helps getting to start with the Sedins, but he took full advantage and didn't look out of place.

Totally agree. Burrows and even Dorsett would go before Hansen. I suggest he would draw a 1st Round pick at a TDL but not at draft.

I think I like etem best with the sedins out of grenier and virt. But I did like his game tonight. I'd like him to skate with the puck a bit more, he seems to want to give it up to the twins, which I guess is what your told to do. But the previous game he looked most dangerous I think when he was cycling and getting more involve.d

Really surprised to hear Willy D say that Grenier played well but playing with the Sedins is not the spot for him.  I thought they looked good together as a line.  Alex has to get his finish going is all but that is true of lots of Canucks.  And Hank was enthusiastic after the game too.

I too liked Etem the best with the Sedins. Grenier was okay with them as was Virtanen.

Hansen aint goin anywhere.

Hansen is great but going forward I think we should spend money on a true line mate for the Sedins. We have something like 13 million in cap space. We should be getting somebody like Stamkos (dream) but guys like Okposo and Eriksson would be great fits. We have plenty of bottom 9 guys after that. Hansen has decent value right now. Grenier will be the new Hansen haha. I'd hate to lose Grenier to waivers next year only to find out he turns out better than Hansen.

Sedin Sedin Eriksson

Baertschi Horvat Rodin

Burrows Sutter Etem

Gaunce Dorsett Grenier

Vey

Virtanen and McCann will probably start in Utica due to the numbers game. Everybody else above needs to clear waivers.
