Aixtek
Report: CBJ is shopping picks in order to obtain prospects who are on the fringe on being NHL ready, but probably wont see much call-up duty. Word is they think they are going to be lonely at the draft and want some company
Champions of Nothing
It was tough to trade such a great future piece in Seguin, but my center depth was deep and I needed another quality winger. After this deal I'd say my roster is more or less set. Zach Parise - Matt Duchene - Patrick Sharp Scott Hartnell - Jamie Benn - Tomas Holmstrom Cody McCormick - David Bolland - Nick Palmieri Matt Bradley - Mark Letestu - Brandon Yip Kris Barch Toni Lydman - Dustin Byfuglien Matthew Corrente - James Wisniewski Rostislav Klesla - Kyle Cumiskey John Moore - Jim Vandermeer Jonathan Quick Jhonas Enroth Minors: Maxim Mayorov - Ryan Howse - Andreas Engqvist Charles-Olivier Roussel - Teemu Laakso Mark Visentin Captain: Zach Parise Alternate (home): Patrick Sharp Alternate (home): Dustin Byfuglien Alternate (away): Scott Hartnell Alternate (away): Dave Bolland Thoughts? Champions of Nothing
Very strong up the middle. Could use a little more depth on the wings. If Wiz stays healthy - then you should be a playoff team. ( especially since the West is weak )

Probably not loaded with powerhouses, but a lot of Western teams got a lot better over the summer.
canuck2xtreme
If I played guys in their natural positions, I'd be stronger on the wing. Benn is a W/C but is a naturaly winger. I considered this: Parise - Duchene - Sharp Hartnell - Bolland - Benn but then my bottom 6 would be considerably weaker with: Holmstrom - Letestu - Palmieri Yip - McCormick - Bradley Dave Bolland is not a top 6 player. That is all. Edit: not bashing your team. Just an observation.

Squeak
Alright here we go: Quebec updated roster: Grabner (NYI) - Lecavelier (TBL) - J. Jokinen(CAR) Vrbata(PHX) - Vermette (CBJ) - Rolston(NJD) Skille (FLA) - Macmillan (ANA) - Cooke(PIT) Burish (DAL) - Olesz (CHI) - Oreskovich (VAN) Ashton (TBL) - Lander (EDM) - Dalpe (CAR) Mauldin (COL)- Bonino (ANA) - Wright(TBL) Miele (PHX) - Huberdeau(FLA) - Da Costa(OTT) Campbell(FLA) - Gilbert (EDM) Sekera (BUF) - Clark(TBL) Mitchell (LA) - Lilja(PHI) Rundblad (OTT) - Lepisto (CHI) Sauve (VAN) - Scott(CHI) Mason (CBJ) Theodore(FLA) Bishop (STL) Bachman (DAL) Rights: Ty Rattie (29th overall/2011) (STL) Michael St. Croix ( 48th overall/2011) (CGY) Markus Granlund (63rd overall/2011)(NYR) 2012 draft picks: Que 1st round Que 2nd round Que 3rd round I will be the first to tell you, it's not a 'sexy' team. But I think I have acquired enough depth as Miele, Da Costa, Lander, Dalpe, Ashton, Bonino and Mauldin will likely see NHL action. So if I have any injuries, I have competent players to fill in. If I stay healthy I could make it into the playoffs. Thoughts?
canuck2xtreme
Who is more top 6? Bolland or Holmstrom? I have 5 legit top 6 forwards and a couple tweeners. Palmieri could also step up into that role as well, but time will tell. Holmstrom. No doubt about it. Re-read my post and it sounded kinda harsh. Wasn't trying to bash your team, just Bolland. theminister
With the recent blockbuster trade of fan favourite Patrick Sharp and Jhonas Enroth to Detroit for young guns Tyler Seguin and Tuuka Rask it appears that the Isles are set heading into training camp with competition at every position. At forward the Isles predict they will have two roster spots open and expect that there will be a stiff battle among prospects Jordan Caron, Mika Zibanejad, Andrei Loktionov, Emerson Etem and Jeremy Morin for playing time. If it appears that they will need more seasoning the team is prepared to add a veteran player to their 4th line. On defense the organization has been waiting patiently for the trio of young puck movers in the system, Brendan Smith, Dmitri Orlov and Stefan Elliott, to develop into players ready for prime time. The management excitedly believes this is the year that one or more of them will be ready to take the next step. In goal the addition of highly regarded netminder Tuuka Rask creates a 3 way battle for playing time with Andrew Raycroft and Ray Emery. Though this is the team's biggest uncertainty going into camp the organization has decided to take a wait and see approach before assessing the goalie position. All-in-all, the Isles feel they have the pieces and timing to make another strong push for the Division title this year. Let's drop the puck!
