Not sure if this is of help.

Based on your total money spent on players you'll need around 11m or so for your player development section of your front office budget.

Waivers. Players you place on waivers have 24 hours for any team to claim the player. If the player goes unclaimed, you must assign him to your minors or place the player back on the active roster. The player will not become a free agent.

thanks

my question in general is 1. is the players development = minor league salary?

or 2.is there a minor league minimum salary without spending money to the players development budget?

if its the 1st point so then there has been something wrong on the blues before i became the GM of this team. the minor salary was 19 million (and still is) when i got the team and i´m sure that the players development budget on the front office was NOT 19 million when i made some changes in july.

so if the minor salary = the players development ...my minor salary drops from 19 to 11 million and then i have a huge problem.

well i can cut 4-5 million from other FO budgets and rise the PD to 15-16 million but then i´m still over the cap and thats not my fault cuz i just worked with the numbers which i had on my team site ...thats what i´m worried about.

the buyout window has closed and no one would want a guy like Campoli via trade i guees ...cuz he´s still without team...or is probably someone interested in Poti?

i need to clear things with c2x

Player development = Minor league salary cap, yes.

Not sure how that discrepancy happened on the Blues team chart....

The St.Louis Blues changes their Front Office Budget to:

Training /Medical= 10 Million $

Legal = 0 Million $

Player Relations = 8 Million $

Player Development = 17 Million $

now..i have to do some math with my rosters...frack it <_<

next season i ll have some more room and bring back some money to the legal section

The San Jose Sharks have finalized their front office budgets for the year, and I am pleased to report that our ownership group is deeply committed to supporting this team financially. Every available dollar of the 'front office cap' has been budgeted. Our scouting and trade department will surely enjoy their new fax machine and reception desk.

San Jose Sharks Front Office Budget:

Legal: $10m

Medical: $10m

Player Relations: $8m

Minor Leagues: $7m

News from The Shark Tank

Today I can confirm that stalwart veteran netminder Marty Turco is on the market. Marty is a star performer in net and I have nothing but the best regard for his skill, integrity and longevity. With the great battle in camp among our young talent in goal, we feel Marty deserves a shot at joining a club who can use his starter skill set night in and night out.

Starter skill?

Didn't he use all that up in the first round of 2007?

This guys a ten year NHL veteran with 47 playoff games under his belt. His last year starting in the playoffs he saw 18 games of action posting .922 save percentage and a 2.08 GAA. The man certainly has the goods to be a starter in the league, and could potentially be a steal of a deal in our league for the right team.

His last year in the league he was supposed to be the starter for Chicago, a strong team, and went 11-11-3 with a 3.02 GAA and a save % of .897. He's 36 years old, currently an unsigned UFA and not at any training camp that I'm aware of (though I could be wrong there). I believe Luongo and Miller sapped his starters skills right about here....

Notice that Ryan Miller waves his hand about in a spell like manner.... ;)
