The orchestra does these themes justice.

And here's Link's theme from the Soul Calibur II soundtrack.

BAH, somehow my post the other day never made it on.

Well i'm not going to find it all and post it again, but anyone with a SNES who played Chrono Trigger would be surprised not to find it mentioned anywhere here.

You old-timers back me up on this - While it's obviously dated now, back then it was as good as Video Game Music got.

You know, I was praising the Soul Calibur II soundtrack earlier. The first SoulCalibur soundtrack is even better. Coming from one of the top 50 games of all time, the soundtrack had better be amazing, and it sure lives up to it.

Brilliant.

I'm not really an old timer, I'm 20, but Chrono Trigger is one of my favourite games. I was also surprised to not see any of it's music on here.

I never played it on the SNES console though, I played it like 5 or 6 years ago on an emulator.

The only SNES games I really had for the console was Sunset Riders, Super Mario World, Mario Paint, Kirby Superstar and a few others. Donkey Kong Country, etc. I had plenty more, but I never really heard of CT until later on in life. :P

Shocked that I was minused. Some people have no taste.

This might be one of the greatest pieces ever written for a video game.

The piano arrangement:

And the softer reprise:

It truly is remarkable.
