Kun did nothing in the World Cup, only did anything for a few games this CL, and basically has been a top player in PL.

Neuer not only was in the CL finals, but won the World Cup (one which Aguero was handed a winning goal on and flubbed it) and is looking like a 2x Bundesliga champ for both seasons this year. His value extends far beyond making saves too.

Unfortunately we're talking about awards that have mostly a scoring bias, and Neuer doesn't score goals. It takes quite a bit of recognition for him to be there, and he deserves it. Although, I'd pick Messi ahead of Ronaldo.

Messi has been out of form for quite some time and Ronaldo has been an absolute monster this year.

Kane > Defoe, Van der Vaart, Bale, Modric. He was unreal today

I seriously think the spurs should target Mkhitaryan if they're actually selling him..

Kane or Soldado at ST

Eriksen - Mkhitaryan - Lamela

Paulinho - whoever

Also, if the Eriksen to PSG rumors are true, asking for Cabaye as collateral isn't a bad idea, obviously + at least 20m

May as well post my hopes for the next window.

Mkhitaryan is great but I don't think attacking mids/wingers should be our priority. Eriksen should be in the middle with Lamela and Chadli out wide.

We need one good holding/defensive mid, Schneiderlin would be perfect but I doubt we get him. Should've kept Sandro.

We also need a top striker, like Jackson Martinez, Bony, or Benteke. Kane is great but he's not quite ready. Poch wants Jay Rodiguez but I don't think he's what we need.

Bring in a quality centreback, Hector Moreno is rumoured.

Sell:

Vertonghen (doesn't seem to care)

Dembele (garbage)

Adebayor (worse than garbage)

Townsend (not good enough)

Naughton (Yedlin is coming)

Lennon and Chiriches are decent but I won't be crushed if they leave.

I'd love to give Soldado and Paulinho more time but we need money and results.

P$G can piss off

Speeking of the Ballon D'Or, It has to be Ronaldo's. He won the CL,broke the record for most CL goals in one tournament, and he's been a monster in all competitions this year as well.

I'm actually surprised that Neuer is even a finalist Goalkeepers never are considered and I feel that they gave him credit for the year he had.

I PVR'd the Chelsea match, surprised to see them finally lose.. had to check score on the rest of it since my recording cut off after 86 or 88 minutes, after Newcastle's red.

Edit: Nevermind, it was another match it went into, so I saw the rest. Watching Chelsea players arguing with each other = priceless.

Coincidence? But in all seriousness, set my alarms and I kept turning them off. Probably forgot, was tired af

I set my alarm too but lacked the motivation to get up.

Newcastle is playing its best football in years; have to tip my hat to them.

That's what happens when you don't lose in months.

I was actually disappointed in Bayern's 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

While Pep has the animation of Jim Harbaugh with the serious face of Mike Babcock, the players, this season, have been more playing with a bit of apathy. Exception obviously to guys like Ribery (scoring opportunities) and Lahm (movement -- and injured) who have been pulling the team on their shoulders. Even Boateng has looked rather complacent much of the season -- have more appreciated Rafinha's play. Lewandowski seems like a different player than when he played for BvB.

Hopefully Schweinie can get sht moving along, especially as CL progresses to more difficult rounds.

Lewandoski's miss was bad.

And I think it's just a chemistry problem right now.

Dude Aguero has been Jesus for City the team hasn't been that good apart from him

Never said he wasn't. But if you think Man City are taking the title, then those are long odds even before he went down.
