I always felt like he showed up big against teams. Never thought errors made by the team defensively were his fault and more of the defense. Maybe its the bias that is shown to english players but I would rather have Hart than Bravo. P.S. This makes me feel like I am saying I would rather have Heart than Bravery
CaptainCanuck001
Personally always thought Hart was overrated due to the fact that he is English . He isn't a bad keeper by any stretch of the imagination but I could think of 10+ keepers I would have over Hart.

GLASSJAW
Anyone have any guesses about Wilshere's fate? I've been really fascinated with Arsenal's absurd injury problems in recent years. I'm curious to see if Wilshere will be able to flourish--or even just stay healthy--elsewhere, or if there's just a brittleness to him. Would like to see him at West Ham, personally. Scottish⑦Canuck
He's chavvy enough for West Ham. Would probably be a good fit.

A fully fit Wilshere would be a guaranteed starter in every Premier League side, bar maybe Chelsea (as they have Kante). But the 2016 Jack Wilshere? He's not worth the investment any team would have to make in him, from wages to injury treatment to fawning over him and alienating existing members of the team. For example, I wouldn't want him at West Brom. Talented as he is, I'd rather give another player who will stay fit 38 games a season, rather than give them 8 games, drop them for 2 to allow WIlshere to play / get injured, bring them back for 7 games, drop them for another two etc. It's bad for team morale to have one player that a place is guaranteed to. Serious consideration should be given to Sunderland, Everton, Palace, even Leicester (a Wilshere-Drinkwater combo could be fantastic). But if I were a fan of those teams, I'd simply not want the guy. He's expensive, takes away from an existing player, and has crushing media expectation on him. He's doomed to failure, and Arsenal should be looking to sell outright and get as much as they can for him, while he can still walk.
AV.
He should link up in Torino with Joe. But seriously, this loan should be no more than a few months/until January. We will have injury problems and we'll need the cover (as funny as that sounds)

This makes me feel like I am saying I would rather have Heart than Bravery I think that the main issue is playing style and that Hart of 2016 isn't the Hart of 2012. He also had back problems last year so while he isn't that old for a keeper maybe his body is wearing out. I'm going to miss him and I'm glad that he got the start last Wed. so fans could cheer him one last time.
87Crosby
Does anyone feel the hate given to Rooney? I dont love the man but he's done so much in a United shirt, still delivers consistently but all the fans on online forums don't like him just because he's old. I get he was absolutely horrid at the start of last season but on current form he isn't bad. He can still deliver that pass or take a shot that helps the team win the game. The best criticism I hear is that he does dog$&!# for 80 minutes and scores or assists. So basically my point is that why do people care if he plays as $&!# as long as he delivers the end product. IMO I think this is actually the fault of Rooney being World Class before and people just don't understand that his style of football doesn't age well. They expect him to play like he did years ago and now that he can't they would rather him not play at all. He also retained his captaincy in England yesterday, which was a no-brainier. Who else can even serve as captain? Henderson??? I'd rather not as I don't think Hendo even deserves a spot on the first team. Hart could get the armband but I just feel that a goalkeeper can't be involved with the ref as an outfield player, not to mention Hart isn't a staple on the starting XI either. Just a bunch of my thoughts on Rooney, I think I'll write a post about this on my blog lol, I do have a lot to say.

Just a bunch of my thoughts on Rooney, I think I'll write a post about this on my blog lol, I do have a lot to say. Rooney was disrespectful to the Manchester United "name" a few times back in the day - demanding new contracts, going public with threats of moving to rivals, going public with questions of whether or not the club was ambitious enough for him. Here's an article about his attitude: https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2010/oct/23/wayne-rooney-disrespect Anyway, he was so celebrated for so long. He was supposed to be the best thing to happen to and in England - but he wasn't, and isn't. Sometimes it's because he's played in ridiculous positions for England, other times he is neither a great midfield or a great striker, yet he is played in those positions - earning 10 times as much money as players who could potentially be more effective at it. Its easy to dislike him.
