Anyone know whether Phonsie's injury could have World Cup implications?

Based on this Sporting News article, things look promising:

Will Alphonso Davies be healthy for the World Cup?

Bayern Munich did not give a timetable for Davies' injury, only saying that the Canadian "is feeling good in the circumstances" but was unable to train on Sunday.

Unless Davies suffered a concussion alongside the bruise, he should likely be back in a week or two. That sentiment was backed up a report from German publication Kicker (passed on by popular Bayern Munich supporter account @MiaSanMia) stating Davies could return as soon as next weekend in Bundesliga action, missing just the midweek Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen.

Leeds 0  Arsenal 1

The mark of a good team is that they can escape with three points from a game that probably should have ended up in a draw or even a loss.

I don't know what the Leeds coach told his players at half-time but that second half.....good grief.

But a win is a win.

Arsenal suffered a well deserved loss today in the Europa League, losing 2-0 to PSV.  :sadno:

PSV had three (3!) goals overturned because of offsides.  I don't think I've ever seen one team lose three goals upon review in one game before.

With their underwhelming draw against Southhampton last Sunday and today's loss, this Sunday's home game against Nottingham Forest becomes more important.  Time to put an end to this nonsense before it gets out of hand!

Another loss for Liverpool Today as they fall to Leeds 2-1

They are just not a good enough team.

they have some great players but they are now older and less fit that previous seasons. klopp requires a gengenpress which to keep up requires a lot of energy and fitness and his squad needs more fresher legs, and since they no longer hand Mane one of the key pressers from the front has gone so they are sitting off slightly which means teams are playing through them.

that and Van Dijk isn’t anywhere near his previous levels, he’s not the best defender in the league any more and he’s not even the best Dutch defender in the league
