There is no better way to spend your Sundays than to root for a backup RB to get into the game, or for Michael Vick to get 40 points on the Monday Night game (greatest single game comeback I've ever had to win a matchup). I just drafted in a 12 team league, and was just wondering how other CDC members felt about their own drafts so far. Some highlights: Philip Rivers Andre Johnson Vincent Jackson Anquan Boldin Some gambles: Ben Tate Rashad Jennings Contrary to my strategy last season, where I had 6 start-able running backs coming out of the draft, I barely have 2 with Wells-Best. pdc Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I have my draft on tuesday, we have a 14 team league, 2 Qb's 2Rb's 4WR's 1TE 1K 1 Def to start then, 2Qb's Rbs WR; 1TE 1K 1Def on our bench. Edler23- Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I did my 2nd 12 team draft.... got Matt Ryan in the 5th round(2nd to last pick) Hes a stud. I usually wait to draft QBs in a 1 QB league because there is a lot of quality QBs. Unlike RB where only 30 start and you need to fill 2 or 3 spots. I would say if possible 7th - Michael Vick or Andre Johnson..... my pick would be Vick cause he does everything 15th - Jones Drew or Brady/Brees.... If you go on the route of selecting a RB or WR in the 1st round take Brady or Brees probably. If they are not there Jones Drew might be there(He was in my draft) If you dont select a QB with those picks.... wait till the 3rd or 4th rounds and take Matt Ryan. I thought I'd have more time but before I realized it I was stuck drafting alex smith because I needed a second starter on a different bye week. I'm kinda regretting the moss pick too, had a brain fart.
