Bombastik der Teutone
Morrisonn is actually pretty good. Had an off-year last year, but he a lot of people thought he deserved the salary Buffalo gave him when he first signed. He's a good 10 point/shutdown guy who plays some PK and bottom pairing, but can step up when necessary. I think he would be a good fit on a rebuilding team to relieve the defensive pressures of some young guy, plus he is pretty huge.. Edmonton or Islanders could probably use a guy like him. Though Edmonton signed Sutton to play that role, I guess.
Ilya Mikheyev
well you cant have enough depth on your defence just take a look on the canucks i guess the sabres will find a way to keep them all we´ll know more after the pre-season i´m hopefully for the sabres

Bombastik der Teutone
^this would be very funny Yeah, though there's a decent chance Morrisonn would be taken on waivers... who knows. Achso, we will see.

Bombastik der Teutone
3rd Game...3rd Win i know the Pre-Season says nothing in General but those Sabres looking pretty impressive. Ehrhoff with an Assist again, Miller 1st Star...Pommers with the Game Winner. Roy out with an Shoulder Injury but Ruff said its nothing serious. I hope he´s right. http://www.nhl.com/ice/recap.htm?id=2011010033&navid=DL|NHL|home http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=376554

Psycho_Path
Personally I don't mind the leafs. I think they have a team that will definitely challenge for a playoff spot, though that's really riding on their goaltending. Buffalo's looking real good this game. Ennis was one of the players I was thinking would challenge for the Calder last season. His skill is pretty up there. Looking forward to seeing him continue to progress. I wonder what Buffalo is gonna do about the cap though. They need to make decisions soon.

Darkstar
Buffalo's powerplay was deadly tonight. Either that, or the Leafs penalty kill is horrible. Luke Adam is a beast.
Ilya Mikheyev
Vanek & Ehrhoff are gonna lead an absolutely deadly powerplay this season. I wonder if Regier will bring back Dumont now that Kotalik and Morrisonn have been waived.
Bombastik der Teutone
4th strike sabres....ehrhoff scored again. i hope the take this form thru the regular season. i ll watch the highlights when i´m at home. adam seems to be a guy for the future. i´m pretty excited for this season...for the nucks and the sabres of course. and like a lot of people have predicted...kotalik and morrisonn are done

Ilya Mikheyev
Was picturing it like: Vanek - Roy - Pominville Gerbe - Leino - Stafford Ennis - Boyes - Adam Hecht - Gaustad - Dumont McCormick, Kaleta Doubt they have the depth to carry 8 defenseman with Morrisonn down, and would have 2 extra forwards. In my opinion, Dumont is better than Kaleta and then McCormick could sub in when they need more energy and J.P. can move up if he plays well/they're playing a team like Detroit. Besides, weren't Dumont and Hecht linemates when Hecht had 52 points in 64 games and J.P. had 53 points in 77 games? Considering they'd be back together on the FOURTH line, that would be some crazy depth. I think they played well in the playoffs together, too, the year after the lockout? I could be wrong about this.
Ilya Mikheyev
Sabres lost today.. but Vanek wasn't playing, so what do you expect? Myers was -3 despite scoring the teams' only goal.
