Russ
Isn't he at 1.3 mill/year? If he gets a shot with Sedins or Kesler he could hit 50, but playing on the 3rd line he wont. Depends on if AV wants to try him in an offensive role or keep him playing that shutdown 3rd liner with Maholtra that has made him such a popular player with the Canucks and fans. He has the potential, you could see it in the SCF when he got bumped up with the Sedins he was able to find holes in the D to get open simply because he has that extremely quick first step and explosion. Yeria
I think that this year Hansen is going to get 50pts or close to it, and maybe see some time with the Sedins throughout the season. This is especially amazing considering he's barley making a million a year! Opinions?
PowerAids
Hansen is one of the best most underrated role players on our team and in the NHL. He brings it on every shift and always makes me notice him, even if he's not scoring a ton of goals.
_CometProject
I could see him getting 20 goals before 50 points. Hopefully he's even more effective this year than last year. Including the playoffs. Tallied two goals early against the Hawks then had one goal for the rest of the run. With all due respect, you need more contribution. Then again you can say that about anyone.
malHOEtra
I think playing on the top 2 lines your guaranteed at least 50 points. Again the question is if he will see top 6 time. If Hansen makes it in the top 6 some how that bumps one of Sammy/Sturm/Raymond/Hodgson to 3rd line, and I don't think any of those guys would be nearly as effective on the 3rd line as Hansen. Lucky_Man
Nope. I predict Grabner will get 50. Hansen will get 20ish. No offence, MG.
sonoman
One of the hardest "workers" on the team, but 50 points? Probably more like 30-
nuck7635
Hansen was awful when he played on the 1st and 2nd lines last year. I like Hansen but he's not fit for an offensive role; he's perfect where he is and he does his job real well.
Captain Aerosex
30 points I think...45 points is the high mark if he gets some time in the top 6.
ErnieVan
If he can show some finish then yes he can get 50 pts. Playing on the third line plus killing penalties should give him enough chances to get 50 pts. The problem is he has had lots of scoring chances but doesn't finish, that's always been the weakest part of his game. How many times has his speed produced a great scoring chance but he fails to score. If he can up his touch around the net then yes he can get 50 pts. Coconuts
I could see him topping out at 37 points.
stonecoldstevebernier
I think he can come close to 20 goals - 35-40 points would be a better projection. I can see a one-time career-high season of 50 points down the line somewhere though.
Zing!
He won't see Sedin time unless Burrows and Samuellson suck. And he might even be behind Sturm too. Only then, will Hansen get a shot.
Gustavo Fring
40 points will probably be his career high in a season. Hes got hands of stone luckily he works with the skills coach now. Everytime he gets a breakaway its always that standard deke that has a 10% success rate.
*vInTaGe*
I think he will raise his career high, but not get 50 points.
Guest Dasein
He'll hit 50 at one point - if he gets some 2nd unit PP time.

keslersWrister
Enroll him in the ryan kesler school of shooting and I could see him potting 20+ goals with bottom 6 minutes even. 50 pts if he gets top 6 time and he captilizes. He could just as likely end up straight in the doghouse if he gets top 6 and fails.
