-Vintage Canuck-
He won't hit 50 points this season. I predict 35ish.
Ray_Cathode
I think that this year Hansen is going to get 50pts or close to it, and maybe see some time with the Sedins throughout the season. This is especially amazing considering he's barley making a million a year! Opinions?
VaNCiTy 23
30-35point range probably more realistic
RyanKeslord17
I prefer Hansen to be in a checker type role that he is in now. Hes so effective that way because of his speed and grit
Beluga Whale
I think 50 is a long shot, maybe in a coupe of years. He probably will get around 35ish.
Guest The Brown Burrows
I'd be suprised if he cracked 40 pts, he still needs to work on his finish. If his finishing improves this year, he can easily pot in 50 (he misses a lot of given goals).
Bananas
Hansen was awful when he played on the 1st and 2nd lines last year. I like Hansen but he's not fit for an offensive role; he's perfect where he is and he does his job real well.
Phil_314
if he's setting up Kes and Sammy/ Sturm I could see that happening. might take him until the end of the season but he can
Kent.S
He showed flashes of being able to score, all he needs to do is work on consistency by putting it in the back of the net.
icycold
Well if he has got a skills coach that can help him find his hands then easily 50+ more like 60 the way our 3rd line is looking like i.e. with another skilled tough winger that can't crack the top 6, centered by Malholtra + hansen, yep i could see it, IF and only if he can get his hands to match his speed and quickness. If not then no around 30-35 if he has a good yr. Honestly tho, he doesn't have to. It would be nice to see but that's not his job, all he has to do is help keep the puck out of our net and put some in their net here n there, what more can you ask of a 3rd line player? rotiman187
sound reasonable, he just needs to start finishing his chances more.
Sully2Cool
I can see Hansen getting 40-60 points.
MikeyD
I think he'll get promoted this year, make 40 points and surprise us all and in a few years make 50. Dude has so much potential.
Slegr
Hansen is a very frustrating player. Lots of speed. lots of passion. Terrible finish. A scoring touch is hard to find at his age, although Burrows and Kesler have shown it's possible. If Hansen manages to muster 50 points, I'd guess there would be about 40 assists within that total. Canvoucer Vanuck
Depends what role and minutes he'll get. If he gets PP time on top of that, sure why not?
malHOEtra
I can see him this season realistically between 37-42. Mainly 3rd line, but I think AV will use him as a stick. If Sturm/Samuelson/Hodgson slack at all or take a shift off, AV can throw Hansen in on the 2nd line for a few shifts to A) spark some energy and B ) act as a tool to make sure the top 6 are playing to their ability. Master Mind
If Hansen continues to improve, and get some more ice time, he could hit 50. But I'm going to guess he gets around 35.
