Hedgehog Hodgson Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Not sure if they're on there, but i had compiled a list before this was posted... -The world Juniors/playing in the CHL and being drafted for a WJC team? -In the coming years actually put the Olympics in for the year the olympics are(as well maybe make an olympic mode for it where you can pick a country then pick the players you want on the team from the list of eligible players, and manage the team through the Olympic tournament). -If you're in BAP and your team does not make the playoffs, have the option of playing on one of the World teams in that tournament. -More equipment options such as shoulder pads, shin pads, etc? That could get extensive, but would still be a nice attention to detail. As well as goalie chest protector options could be nice as well. -GOALIE HELMET BRAND OPTION. I cannot stress this enough. The Bauer Helmet is nice, but not ever goalie in the NHL has the Bauer style and brand of helmet, i mean come on.. players get to use different helmets, why not goalie? Maybe make it so you can choose a brand/style of helmet, then choose the logo/color scheme? Would be a great feature for goalie lovers. Im one of the people that love playing goalie in BAP, and it's such a bummer that they do not have Brian's Fusion pads.. I was looking forward to them.. As well they had better do a better Job of making the goalie helmet designs closer to the real ones from each team. I know there are copyrights to the designs from the mask painters, but i mean just offer to put their name in-game beside the mask when you cursor over it or whatever, its a lot to ask, but EA NHL series is a top of the line International console game. Gunner Garrison Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 I'd like the next NHL to have the following: - face recognition, like FIFA 11 has, EASPORTSWORLD.com uses two pictures of you and renders it in 3-D then FIFA takes that rendering and puts it on ur create a character, brilliant. - fix hip checks, a guy shouldn't be able to skate into me while im hugging the boards and drop into a hip check and cause me to drop to the floor, that just unrealistic. they need to make it so if a different part of the body connects u have a different reaction, when a guy hip checks me with his head in real life, sure as hell he's gonna fall down on the ice as well. - request trades in be a pro - refusal to sign and the ability to hold out on contracts until you get the contract you want - multiple line ups for be a gm like in EAUHT - more player types, besides grinder, twf, sniper, playmaker, power forward and tough guy. What about the defensive specialist or power play specialist/quarterback? - the ability to assign player attributes to your be a pro and your attributes effect how your team players around you. for example your main attribute is to park urself in front of the net and tip shots, your team reacts to this and when your in position they throw it on net for u to tip. and your attribute + your hand eye co-ordination stat effect how well you tip it etc. That's all I can think of. Braddowski Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 NHL 12 is the best EA Sports game ever - so much better than all the others - and I feel spoiled playing it after playing Madden but it still needs some major improvements. 1) I play as a goalie & the most annoying thing is making a save & then not being able to see where the puck is because your own body is in the way. The amount of times I've been embarrassed because I've had a poke check against me while the pucks at my skates and, for some reason while standing up, I can't cover it without diving OVER it. Auto cover-ups were meant to fix this but it hasn't as, if the puck's at your skates or on your stick, it won't do it. FIX IT PLEASE. 2) Hugging the posts. I go to hug the post to prevent a guy skating around the back to score. My goalie then hugs the far post leaving an open net. So I try to get away with not hugging the posts & the puck goes in the nearside gap on the post. Yet the computer's goalie can hug posts perfectly. What's up with that? Let me chose to hug the nearest post to ME, not the skater. 3) I know it's been mentioned before but face recognition like in FIFA would be amazing. Similarly giving goalies a choice of nicknames would be excellent too. 4) Crowd chants. & traditions. Enough said. 5) Realistic player reactions. If I mess up & let in an easy goal, I wouldn't just have a sip of water. Similarly, if I made an amazing save I wouldn't do the same thing. When glass is smashed you wouldn't carry on regardless. If there was a bad penalty call, wouldn't the captains go over to the refs? If someone with high aggression gets knocked over the boards wouldn't they go out for revenge?
