Guest Dasein Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Kuznetsov and the Russians celebrated like they won Gold when they beat Canada, and in a way, they did. We were the hardest competition in the tournament for them - After us, Sweden probably looked like a piece of cake. Kuznetsov won in 2011 as an underdog - he never learned how to prepare his team going into a game as the heavy favourites. They came out flat and unprepared, and Sweden took it to them. Game over. Some bad bounces cost them their game against Russia, but they were the hardest working and quickest team in the tourney. Russia simply failed to show up for the gold medal game.
