bahaazar
lol not....Hodgson isnt ready for your mantle, Kassian is the man. Bruins biatch slapped us, we didnt want to fight and Tim Thomas was even able to rub out a twin. Face it, the Canucks cant get down and dirty..they dont see a Chara or a Suppan needs to be singled out. If you cant finish checks on these guys they will on our top players...thus the loss in the playoffs, thus the loss to the habs....anyways its funny to see the "heart of a canuck" because really in the last while there hasnt been. CanucksSayEh
I think Kassian will be great in the playoffs, permanently pissed off.
VanNuck
I agree that teams certainly don't win with toughntess alone - it isn't that simple - but 'mental toughness' is not enough either Yes - the Wings won with a post-toughness style of hockey - ala Edmonton skill, speed and puck possession.... - the idea that Minnesota was the toughest team of the decade? They never won because they were a defense only team that could not put the puck in the net often enough - most people would not have considered them exceptionally tough. The Bruins were not only mentally tough (or united) - they also have a lot of good two way hockey players, great goaltending, and were healthy.
